Friends with Benefits

em2mb
Three journalism students at the University of Missouri investigate a recent study suggesting friends with benefits relationships are more stressful and less intimate than their casual nature might imply. Stressful? Maybe for some, but our sources have their own reasons for prefering FWBs.

    • Good job getting people to talk about sex (comfortably) on camera! Definitely not an easy thing to do.

I love seeing student/young producers/journalists tackles these "WARNING" stories about young people in the media. When I saw the articles published on this study, they were for the most part laughable. Sometimes, the adults reporting on "young people" just don't get it... so good job for attempting to tell the story from the words of the people involved.

    • Interesting topic, I liked both the personal and the scientific study. I would have liked a little more theory about what it really means, perhaps some info about the change in mores from our parents' generation to ours. Thanks for uploading!

    • In the sixties and seventies, we didn't bother labeling it, nor making it an issue - we just did it. How did you think many of you got conceived? :)

    • Here we go again. Why does sexual freedom equal being slutty...and I'm sure that "slutty" comment wasn't meant for the guys either. I know many people who are stuck in relationships they don't want to be in, especially the married kind, and one begs to wonder, if they should've just been friends with benefits in the first place. Probably what got them in the relationship to begin with, f*cking.

If I'm not mistaken, men have gotten the practice down, seeing how many of them can have unattached sex. If women weren't so wrapped up in their emotions, they'd all be able to do it too, which is what this pod proves. Not all relationships, should be relationships. We only strive for monogamy because its what society says we should be. Think with your brain, not with your heart people! Hearts get broken.
