Let's Go LARPing

What's wrong with LARP-ing? Sounds fun and interactive. We all have our quirks. I say, life's short. Enjoy each moment while you can.

Scott: I'm fairly sure its on the west coast. if your really interested you can Google "Nero Larp" to find one close to you. I personally found the Nero system a little to strict for my tastes with just a little too many rules but alot of people i know like it. I prefer a more free form, no hitpoints just common sense (you get hit in a vital spot then you die) kinda LARP.

this is one of my favorite pods on current :D love the way it was put together and the subject matter obviously.

I just saw this pod on TV and I absolutely had to comment because it's so awesome.

This is pretty awesome I have to say; who says we have to grow up and be strictly 'adults' or the 'cool' teens. Whatever is fun is fun, and I guess it would be nice to have their own way of being someone else, and essentially breaking out of one's shell.

And did that guy say he went to UW! Heyyyy; Seattle-pride, what what!

this pod is so cool i do this thing with my freinds all the time on my trampoline with swords i love making the storys with my freinds and we go on crazy addventures and we dress up my favorite being a jamacian

I found out about this through some friends who participate... but the one thing I can't stop laughing at is what if you're hiking in the woods one day and all the sudden you see an elf charge past you hollering "HAIYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEAH!" and starts battling another creature? They said people they've seen hiking just sorta stare for a while and move on. But on a more serious note, I think the whole idea's really awesome. It brings people together and gives people a crazily fun release. :]
