I very much think that heros have dreams! I think in a hero dream a hero can dream about me, and maybe I am in some troubles, and so the hero saves my life and my dream!
Also in my dreams I like to dance. Here you may see me doing it! Always, f|u|a

Heroes are human, and they need sleep like the rest of us do. If they dream, that's good.

Heroes have no choice but to dream. Dreams enable us to think of innovative of approaching situations. Heroes are the ones in the world who never, 'I Should Have Done That,' they are the ones who have taken the first leap to changing the world. Being a hero involves a psychological transformation that only a few can ever dream of.

Heros ARE the dreams that we aspire to be. So, I guess if heros never dreamt in the first place then they would not be called as such, and thus would not give us the ambition or hope to become as great...

Of course they dream. Think about it, they dream about the same things we dream about.....They want to be the life of the party and not so shy..... after all they have these unbelievable powers and it's kinda lame that they get to have them and yet can't show them off...It'd be like having a Ferrarri and being 15 with no license......you have the tools but no porkie porkie for you!! You wear the tightest clothing to show off your superhero package and yet nobody seems interested...WTF???
.For Superman it was Lois Lane...for Batman it was Robin.....Everybody dreams about getting laid! What kind of screwed up world would we live in if this was all untrue.....

You're damn right. If you are going to except the title HERO, then your ass better stay awake. Remember all of the crap when Superman had a breif change of heart? At least that was for love and not need for sleep. Imagine if Senator Kennedy stayed awake? I can't speak for a Hero in a non-Democratic country, but here in America, a Hero has the right to dream but the responsability to stay awake and save the day, or night. I sick of spoiled Hero's these days having the cake and wanting to eat it do. Make your decision. Be a full time hero or a full time dependent on those blessed with hero like abilities.

All I have to say is that my brother and our friends used to put large cardboard boxes over our heads and run into each other in a field until they fell apart, just like the picture at 1:40 (except the boxes were longer, we cut small holes in them and spray painted them). That was a blast and I've never seen anyone else do that until now.

Hero's MUST dream! A hero must courageously lead by example. Must dream for those of us that can't. Who are too tired. Who sleep through our dreams. We the weary wanderers rely on our heroes' dreams - to be realized! Can you imagine... MLK's speech... just wouldn't have had the same punch... "I have a thought"...

Its an interesting question and I believe it is a part of a larger problem in our society...the Five for Fighting song particularly bothered me because it is another addition to the trend of imposing traits of normal humans on superheroes...The point of Superman is that he was a pure and innocent example of all that is right and should be striven for...I personally don't want to know what would happen if Superman has other aspirations or feelings...to strap him with the ability to regret is just depressing....It's like those discussions in Physics class about how all the movies get science wrong...."Wouldn't Superman break every bone in Lois Lane's body if he caught her while flying at that velocity?".....The answer? No. He's Superman.

I think this was just a dream that we watched from a mind of a hero.
