The extremely weird Destiny House in East Hampton, Long Island, was designed by two quirky Japanese architects. The home was created as an attempt to outlaw aging and its consequences, to reverse the downhill course of human life.

This article includes wonderful, colorful photographs and a very humorous video about the home. Take a look, enjoy it and have a good laugh!!

    • This looks just like the house I drew when we had to draw/paint/color our future homes in 4th grade...
it's just missing the waterslide that went from my room down into a pool surrounded by waterproof TVs and videogames.

    • yea I would totally trip, fall, roll into the open oven, then die. I like my flats floors just fine. Thank you very much.

    • Maybe it's just me, but designing a floor that purposely makes you trip seems counterproductive to extending your lifespan. Especially combined with that sunken kitchen (complete with stove top burners) that doesn't exactly look well-padded.

I'd rather just have a house with slides, an adult-sized jungle gym, and hidden rooms with trap doors in the bookcases. Just saying.

    • I like this place. It's like living inside a favorite toy and letting all of life's adult bringdowns stay outside where they belong. It would be rejuvenating, to say the least, to be surrounded by such whimsy.

    • There never was any "pedophile thing" in the Neverland Ranch, BenDorries. Only nasty rumors and allegations with no evidence whatsoever to back them.
