The Fall?

IAMmartini
This lesser known film is the real "must see" of the summer. Based on the Bulgarian film, "Yo Ho Ho", directed by Zako Heskija, The Fall is directed by Tarsem and will visually stun and emotionally mesmorize you. You won't want to see it but you will be glad you did.

    • Absolutely love this film. Though the content is a bit lackluster, the imagery and the performances from Lee Pace and Catinca Untaru makes it a must-see!

    • I just got back from the fall. There's 2 hrs I won't get back. The movie is visually stunning but the writing leaves alot to be desired. It seemed like it was written by someone experimenting with mushrooms or peyote and it sure was a strange trip. The flow of the story was very inconsistent. The last hour I found myself hoping it would end soon.
I really enjoyed "The Cell" but not "The Fall".

    • Lee Pace is a fine actor on "Pushing Daisies" and was great on "Wonderfalls", as Jaye's older brother.
This film looks dazzling to the eyes. Can't wait.

    • The cinematography is mesmerizing, one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen, no doubt.

But besides the visual effects, I'm not a big fan. The content loses its attraction towards the end of the movie, and can put people into sleep even!?!

    • Ohh Donna, because we want to let people know what is and isn't worth their money, we will always review the big blockbusters (maybe studios will perk up one day and stop making the crappy ones to begin with). Plus sometimes they pleasantly surprise. But please do feel free to always send requests, as we always like to let people know about the lesser known gems as well.

    • Guys, you should definetely review both of those movies. Oh Donna, I think the best thing about these reviews is that all types of movies get reviewed. I would have never heard of this movie and Im curious to hear what the guys think of Indy's return. I can't find this movie though where I am.

    • Seriously...thank you.

Those 2 guys are HILARIOUS! I've gotten the guys at work to watch your reviews now almost as they are posted!

Thanks for the laughs, keep'em coming. We are disappointed that Indiana Jones hasn't been reviewed.

      Challenge.

    • This movie is IMPOSSIBLE to see... I'm not willing to drive 6 hours to the nearest theater to watch this, and its so unknown that I can't find a download for it either. This is the only movie in my life where I just do not have the -option- to watch it even if I wanted to.

    • This movie film is awesome! I went last friday and there was a Q&A with the director, Tarsem. He's was charming and funny but he wore a really weird jacket. I couldn't stop staring at his weird jacket.

    • Ohhhh wow I want to see this!!

And samply, Paranoid Park...will definitely make you want to throttle the guy on that set in control of lighting--I would have enjoyed the movie more if I could see anything that was going on!

    • See Paranoid Park. The kids in that movie are not nice. You will totally lose faith in humanity and not want to have kids.

    • I saw this yesterday in a theater all to myself!
I have to admit it took a while for me to like this movie. but in the end, I loved it. the visual metaphors, the costumes, the little girl, LEE PACE & how it takes place in the 1920s. the most beautiful movie of the year. booya!
thanks Christian & Mark for the review—glad you guys enjoyed it. =]

    • I thought The Cell was incredible looking so I can only imagine what this will be. Amazing to see a film that looks like that without using CGI.
