    • It wasn't the best movie of the year, but come on people, it was entertaining; exactly what a movie is supposed to be. Good actors, good action, good graphics, good ending, and a nice twist.

And to all the skeptics putting it down, it did explain how some members of the fraternity had super human powers; their neurochemical, such as dopamine and adrenaline, contents could be controlled much better and they had almost 400% the capability as a regular human.

    • Yeah I didn't know what to expect. It was something that should be watched on a HighDefTV. If I wasn't reviewing it, I don't know if I would have gone to see it. But it was a fun rolercoaster ride. Don't expect too much emphasis in story.

      Thanks for watching!

    • Definitely worth the action, although the action is based in no logic whatsoever. I agree, turn your brain off and don't ask questions and you will like it. The cast was great but am I the only one who thinks Angelina isn't skanky enough anymore to pull these hard ass roles off. Gone are the days of drinking Billy Bob's blood and making out with her brother. She's married, a mom, and adopts babies for shit's sake. It would be nice to see her try to step out of her old element and really pulling off some roles with meat.

    • The movie had some serious plotholes. It wasn't very inventive and I felt like I had seen it before. Yet I was entertained from beggining to end and I'd have to agree that the acting kept me in it. A list Actors in a C- script. Regardless it did what it needed to do for a summer film. I could do without a Wanted2 however. But it made money so I guess we will see it right after Hancock 2 comes out.

    • The movie was awesome, if not for way too much suspension of disbelief. The limo assassination was freakin sweet, and it was funny. In the end, it was a guy movie. It was funny, it had an underdog story, it had cool bullet-bending and chase scenes, and it had one of the best ending scenes of any movie.
Oh, and it had Angelina Jolie rear nudity, always helps.

    • It wasn't an amazing movie. I mean, it was a good movie to watch once because the action was great and it was pretty comical (at least I thought so). Aside from that the plot sucked!

That whole "Kill one and 'MAYBE' save a million" was pure BS. They definitely killed like 1000 people during most of the action scenes!

    • Psh. It wasn't based in reality therefore judging it as such just isn't reasonable. I mean in the trailer they show you him getting swept up in the car. If that was believable enough for you to go wow that's believable and then you spent money to see it....your fault.

      It was a fun movie.

It had a bunch of action scenes that have not been seen before, just like Saw had a bunch of death scenes that were not seen before.

It's fun. A summer movie isn't suppose to be well put together that there's Oscar screams. Tis not the season for that...just yet.

    • Same with me, basically what the one guy in the green shirt said- you have to suspend disbelief and it is fun, that's it. Not a good movie but worth watching if nothing else is out there.

    • Okay, in the comic the whole thing takes place in an alternative DC universe wherein Fox is supposed to be Catwoman and the Fraternity is supposed to be nothing but super villians who have succeeded in killing off all the heros. Oh and they used interdimensional imps to rewrite reality so that all the surviving heros now think their ordinary people (which includes a scene wherein the Batman & Robin of this dimension are overweight gay lovers who have no idea they are really superheros)

Sooooo.....this movie has absolutely nothing to do with the comic except the share the title and two of the main characters have the same names as people in the comic.

Not a problem! That's okay....but the movie plot was really, really lazy.

There were two awesome sections of the movie:

      1) When Wesley is bitching about his crappy job/life

      2) The stunts

When nothing was exploding the plot seems really retarded. God is sending binary code through a loom on who to kill?

Um, okay! Probably the dumbest literay device I've ever heard, but no problem. I'm sure the rest of the film is going to be awesome, right? Nope.

Wesley's life as an assassin seemed, well, kinda boring. I was expecting Jason Bourne but all I got was some dude that can bend bullets?

What? No ninja moves? No cool gadgets? No impossible "Did-You-See-That!" assasinations? True, he flipped his car to shot someone but aside from that....nothing particularly creative, memorable or interesting.

And what is up with his Dad???

You'd think at some point he would -- I don't know -- maybe slip the kid a note letting him in on what's really going on instead of remaining mute the entire movie? Again, that characters actions seems to implausible/nonsensical to be enjoyable.

I don't know. If it were a live-action Disney Studio Stunt Spectacular I'd think it was amazing....but as a movie it was a C+ at best.

    • actually, it is a total bastard
it was orginally a comic written by mark millar (who has quoted "wanked off in a pile of cash for what they bought that script at") that (as most comic movies do) resembles nothing to what the actual story was (v for vendetta, league of extra ordinary gentlemen, from hell, and those are just examples of alan moore's work)
closer adaptions are better stories that arent masturbatorial excertions of original stories (300, Sin City)

    • I dont think they are saying that at all. I think the fact that they have normal people reviewing the movies, you get a sense of what is worth spending your dollars on and what is clearly commercial crap. I have been watching these for a while now.

I don't always agree with them but I find them entertaining and I think it is the perfect advertisement. Because it is a trailer mixed with honest opinions.

    • I like Current with it's counterculture alternative living slant, but what's up with these "featured video" big Hollywood movie commercials they throw in?

Right in between the anti-bush, anti-corporate articles is this giant corporate commercial. It's like they're saying f*ck corporate America, but watch this movie first.

Guess they gotta pay the bills somehow.

      Hi FlyingKick,
I appreciate your concern, but please rest assured that these pieces are not advertisements for films. In fact, the studios fought them because they are not promotional and are quite often negative. Putting the name of the studio on there, and giving them credit for the film (bad or good) was the compromise. I believe in this format because we aren't doing what most media companies do. Rather, we're providing a platform where viewers can give their own opinions to the masses (even the recurring people started by uploading their reviews to our site when we began). It is this brutal honesty and "pulling back the curtain" so to speak that Current TV prides itself on, and I promise you we aren't straying from that mission here. If you watch the Wall-E review you will see that these are definitely not advertisements. The fact that it's on the home page and mixed in with everything else is because in addition to politics, music, culture and so forth, movies are considered current in 18-34 year old's lives as well.

Haha, yeah I don't think they're too happy about that one. Most people aren't. Of all movies to be positive about you would have thought it would have been that one. That's why I enjoy these so much, because they're so unpredicatable and it's always intersting/entertaining/insightful to hear a mix of regular moviegoers opinions. And even more interesting to hear the responses and added opinions. Thanks for watching! We do take requests as well (as we did with "The Fall").

    • I am highly disappointed in currents review squad, bashing wall-e yet enjoying wanted. Did Pixar not have enough over the top action and ass? I'm sorry but wanted was total shit, hell its so over the damn top even the happening seems more plausible and that is just pathetic.
