I LOVE how the reviewers always say the exact say things I do about the movies I see!
I agree with everything they said about Hancock. It had a really good start, there was a lot of action and I was really excited to see this hobo kick some serious ass. Then they got this whole love twist involved and it RUINED EVERYTHING! I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never happened.
A bit about Will Smith. Now, I like Will. In my opinion he has made quite a few successful movies. I would call him the "everybody's guy" because everybody likes him. I like him at least. Anyway this movie did not do good things for him and I started to like him a bit less. Hopefully he can make up for it. I'm pulling for you Will!
I watch a lot of movies, now that doesn't mean I've seen all the movies out but I have seen enough to be confident that I have some idea of what I'm talking about. Anyone who has any "movie sense" at all would know that this was disaster of a film. The writers could've taken it in one direction like it started and they took the wrong turn.

I liked the twist and I think that those that don't like it didn't like it because they don't like not knowing what's going to happen. And they panned everything out in their mind thinking they knew how the movie would go and then it didn't go according to how they wanted it...and the twist threw them (as it should) for a rightful loop.

This review was 100% dead on.... Looked like they decided to put the second half of this movie in the hands of a 5th grade girl...

I agree with everything said.
Then again I saw the movie in Chinese and didn't understand a word of what they were saying. But it looked AWESOME the first 45 minutes and then the whole random Charlise Theron plot twist, soo weird. My friend the entire second half kept mumbling "what? what? so weird! what? this is really weird!" - 3 years ago

I enjoyed it. I liked the "twist" because ti wasn't in the trailer.
I can't believe people are up in arms over a 'twist' that was so well hidden that they didn't see it coming. That's probably why some are so pissy.
But I understand not liking the movie as a whole.
I liked it. It was a summer movie. Thinking is nice, but fun is better.

Actually if you watch the trailer close enough you will see that they DO give the twist away.

Im sure since he's a scientologist that he believes he is really capable of these powers. Im also sure his wife Jada thinks that scientology makes her a better wannabe rock star! lol

i dont understand how anyone liked this movie haha. the writing was horrible, the acting sucked, oh, and theres no fucking plot! you would think that a movie that costs millions to make, they would hire some good writers that dont rely on generics. but oh wait, its hollywood, my bad.

How dissapointing. I saw it and thought all the naysayers were crazy. I LOVED the first 45 minutes and then it just goes down hill from there.

I personally enjoyed the film, although halfway through, it seemed to get off track a bit. After seeing it, I still would have paid to see it in the theater, instead of waiting for the rental.

I saw this movie and i thought it was great. I thought it was great because it is a superhero the you see going through problems. I thought this movie lived up to everything i expected it to be. I know Will Smith has had awesome 4th of July movies and i think this lives up to them. I think to judge movies you must put away all thought, and look deep into the movie and injoy it.

That's what happens when writers try to be too clever. They tried to hard and ruined a great concept. But worth checking out for sure.
