Grandma Gritty use to say the road to hell was paved with good intentions. We like to say the road to hell is paved with bad taste. The butt backpack called “Peach” by its creator, Yen-Hsiang Skeet Wang is just one more cobblestone in that long street. Wang takes asses from discarded mannequins and creates the unexpected, a backpack.

The Gritty is all for being green. We ration out paper and ink in our offices. We persuaded granny to finally give up Aqua Net. Heck we finally started to sort our recycling after our landlord threatened to evict us if we don't snap to it. But now we must take a stand. Discarded mannequin asses should not be converted into backpacks. They should be melted down and made into something more practical like Mardi Gras beads or Nintendo Wiis.
