    • Unbelievably sad. Being a Chicago Native now living in the southeast, the White Sox World Series victory was special. It was even more special to have seen Bernie Mac televised there in the crowd celebrating blocks from an area I grew up in as well. I haven't seen all of his material, but that which i have left me gasping for air at times. We'll miss you Mac.

    • Bernie Mac, What can I say but well done, If I had one wish it would be for everyone who enjoyed his comedy to learn to laugh more...love more... and take the time out of each day for the rest of our lives to help one another and realize that life is what you make of it. Let go of the negative things that are holding us back as a nation and learn to be positive, I swear to you if you focus on good thoughts and happiness your life will be filled with good things and happy times and then we can really be thankful to God when he calls a good decent person like Bernie Mac home to Glory we can celebrate his life with Joy......

    • Bernie Mac will most definitely be missed by those that admired his comedy antics and especially the long-running "Bernie Mac Show". Thank God we still have the shows that will play on-and-on, and with those shows, we'll still have the memories.

    • his less than 30 second appearance in "Transformers" as the used car salesman was the best piece of acting in the entire movie . i was watching it for the millionth time the night he passed . Npr re-broadcasted his Fresh Aire appearance the other day and it broke me up . a damn shame .

    • I was shocked to hear the news of Bernie Mac's death. He was a great comendian and actor. Truly one of of my favorites. His comedy was raw, in your face, and true to the point. I loved watching him in movies because he always gave a great performance that lit up the screen. Not only a performer, but I believe an inspiration to us all.
