    • McCain did set a trap that worked!

McCain was all -- "I hate the republicans, I go against them all the time-- When have YOU ever gone against your party leadership? Huh Barack?"

And Obama couldn't name a time he went against the party, so he named a bunch of times he had stood against the American People: "Well, I've been a total dick to the American people-- I'm for Coal, and that upsets the environmentalists, I've voted to make it harder for injured people to sue their employers for unsafe work conditions, which makes me unpopular with unions, I've done stuff that makes teachers hate me, I've done stuff that makes lawyers hate me..."

I already don't like Obama for all those reasons, but I'm a CX debate nerd, and I can't beleive he fell for that trap! I was smacking my forhead...

He should have said, "Well, the fact that you've had to fight against your party leadership to do what's right shows the difference between our two parties.

I haven't had to fight tooth and nail against my party to do the right thing-- we're already trying to do it. We have to fight tooth and nail against the Republicans..."

      oh well.

    • Now that its out, he may as well sue his mistress to get the money back. Failing to keep hush about hush money is surely a breach of verbal contract. Have mistresses no ethics or principles these days!

    • So Brett, any news on if you'll keep this dream team together after the election?

Life will be sadder without a daily fix of Mr. Erlich telling me jokes.
