It is disheartening to read all this garbage spewed out by people in this day and age. It will be these people who bring America to her knees with racism, paranoia, hatred and fascism. Lies are perpetuated as truth designed to cause fear and resentment. Pure stupidity. That is Americas legacy, stupidity. We have allowed intelligence to be farmed out to other countries while the mindless masses remain glued to "American Idol" and the latest on "the O.J saga". I am saddened to see my country soiled by such ignorant trash. A damn shame.

Whats the real fear here? That Obama will turn around and enslave all the white people? It's so easy to bring up all the superficial b.s. like who was sitting where when this was being said, but really, anything would be better than what the Republicans are offering. My issue is not with McCain, as it should not be with Obama. What are they bringing to the table is the real question. Now if your fear is that Obama is going to hand over the country to terrorists, then your problem is beyond logic. Get your bags packing, because Obama's about to be the next President, and God forbid something were to happen to him, I am confident his Vice President, Biden, would be more than capable to take over.

KDKA has given Obama 3 hours of Kevin's Conservative Talk Show time, before the election.

haha, thanks Delia... I have such a laugh when bloggers start passionate angry rants about how one person is suddenly going to turn the entire system "communist" or "socialist." After all, socialism has good points, as does capitalism (if you're rich, anyway).

And as for suddenly turning an entire country socialist or communist in one fell swoop is not likely... remember the entire OTHER part of the government that passes decisions? Yeah... maybe they'll stop a (supposedly possible) political swing...isn't that their job?

A friend of mine asked me the other day why we are SO afraid of socialism- I told him "because it doesn't work" in America. However, that doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of good "socialist" principals that could help people AND America become better. So why do people flip out when they hear words like "communism" and "socialism"? It's not like America is going to ditch capitalism and democracy! Calm down, open your mind- we should be able to learn from history and other country's government systems and successfully evolve our own nation.

Ayres, a terrorist that stomps on our flag. ACORN allies who two of the honchos there took their millions and ran when ACORN caused this financial mess we are now in and ran straight for Obama's camp. They are now his advisors.
Who do you think will be his "mentors" if he is elected? Or do you agree with Michelle who says we have holes in our souls and Obama can fix them. Bush gave tax cuts to the wealthy and I believe we all have to pay a fair share. Many big CEO's pay lower tax rates than their secretaries. Remember Warren Buffet's offer? No one took him up on it! Anyway, I am not a socialist - however the tax cuts for the rich MUST be eliminated, Mc Cain one was against them when Bush proposed them - now Mc Cain wants to make those cuts permanent. I just want what is fair! The gap gets wider - the rich get richer......

When you refuse to really fact check and you have nothing intelligent to say, you stoop to name calling and finger pointing - ala Mc Cain and Palin. What i find very funny is that Palin was found guilty of abuse of power and violation of ethics law, her husband belongs to the secessionist group, AIP, in Alaska, Mc Cain was part of the Keating 5, and was investigated and found to be involved in unethical activities. Even he admits a serious lapse of judgement. Have you seen Obama making a BIG DEAL out of these FACTS? Mc Cain has no factual evidence for all of his smears and mud-slinging and it has caused people to question his ability to lead. It is also a convenient way to take the focus away from the real issues - a failed economy, health care, women's rights, immigration, etc. Why can't Mc Cain stop the mud-sliinging - or is it because he can't sell his plan - after all, he is promoting 4 more years of the same failed policies = more trickle down that hasn't trickled - and AMERICA CANNOT AFFORD 4 MORE YEARS!
Oh, regarding Obama's cool hand and even temperament - have you seen him in the debates? - Mc Cain is known for his erratic behavior and hot temper which has not changed over the years. Last debate he kept hopping around while Obama was talking - couldn't even sit still - shows a lack of tolerance and patience - also a lack of plain old good manners! Check out the crime rate, the rate of school drops outs, the poverty etc in Chicago. See how well Obama did there and then figure out what he will do for you. Chicago received millions of dollars. Nothing changed.
Obama got the hospital where Michelle works a million dollar grant. After which, she got a $200,000. raise. The hospital said it was because she used to work full time. She also gets another salary for being on the board for an agency. Wow wish I had that kind of time. 2 jobs 2 kids and her campaign work.

What is it that makes you think Obama will lead the country with a cool hand and even temperament?
Is it his long and involved dealings with ACORN? Or his listening to Wright for 20 yrs? Or the fact that the mentor in Hawaii, that he praises in his book was a noted communist? Or that all the people he allies himself with in his books are radicals? Is it the fact that he wants to redistribute the wealth? There is a video of him now talking to a man who wants to start a small business and he asks why Obama would want to tax him.And Obama's answer is he wants to redistribute the wealth. Tax the people who provide jobs. Also, while in Iraq, he urged the leader there not to set a withdrawal date till after the election. This is proven. He doesn't want to bring our soldiers today. He wants them to wait till after the election so he can take credit for it.
Why do you trust a man who won't show you his college records or thesis or medical records.And as yet not come up with a birth certificate? There is a Democratic lawyer now suing Obama to make him show his birth certificate.
Why would you trust a man who has lied about knowing Ayres. If socialism is your idea of a well run country then by all means vote for Obama. If you want your money given to someone who doesn't work then let Obama redistribute the wealth as he says he wants to do. But in the past when this has been tried a lot of people said why should I work and support people who won't.
Too many people have been made slaves to welfare. And there are just as many whites as blacks on welfare. So this is not a racial comment. And socialism makes this worse. Instead of education and opportunity the government gives them enough money to keep them living in poverty.Socialism was tried in a way in the hippie compounds. Everyone works and shares equally. But always there were some who would not share in the work but wanted his share of the bounty. So they failed because noone wanted to share with someone who refused to work.

I do my homework every day just like you - especially on fact check. So far, Obama has the best plans - will give more tax relief to mainstream America, will establish a timeline for Iraq, and will be a good replacement for the dishonest people who have been in the white House for 8 years. And don't forget how important the 2nd in command will be - especially in Mc Cain's case. I would find it hard to believe that America wants someone who has been found guilty of abuse of power and violation of ethics laws as 2nd in command. Also, she is savvy with her jibes but that just takes the focus off of her lack of knowledge and understanding of the real issues. She is real folksy - I could sit down and have a drink with her but I would not want her to even teach my children much less lead this great nation!

Just do your homework. Research all this. Not only Obama. Both of them. Then decide. But decide not just because you like one of them or because of what race he is but because of what is best for the country. Leave yourself open to the views and past experience of both of them. Don't refuse to believe the truth about the candidate you have chosen.
I don't take my vote lightly. I listen to any proven fact that I can. Our children's futures are at stake. If you see or get an email about one candidate or the other, read both of them. I signed up for letters from Obama camp, McCain's and a couple of Ind's. I spend hours a day studying them. I read anything anyone sends me about each candidate.I want the truth as best I can get. Let each candidate put everything out there . Not hide anything. If you are hiding you are lying.

There is so much crap being spun - Can't we talk about the economy? and the other real issues? I could care less whether the one to help America get out of this debacle is pink, green, purple, etc. America has always been referred to as "the melting pot" and Americans come from many ethnic and religious backgrounds. Americans need to trust one another enough to put someone in the White House who is intelligent and honest - something we have not seen in 8 years!
