WE ARE AT WAR THE WORLD IS WAITING 2 SEE THE OUTCOME OF THIS ELECTION WITH AN ANTI WAR PRO CORRUPTION PRES LIKE OBAMA WE MIGHT AS WELL NUKE OURSELVES CAUSE WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAVE A TARGET ON OUR BACK!!! OUR ENEMY'S HAVE BEEN WAITING NOW THEY WILL HAVE NO FEAR..THE WORST PART ABOUT IT IS THE PUBLIC WILL HAVE NO CLUE! LOOK AT THE MEDIA ITS ALREADY BOUGHT BY HIM. OK,it sounds harsh but hear me out. Obama's life has consisted of a quest for more and more power!! his EVER increasing skills of persuasion & speech convince MILLIONS. HIS hunger love and addiction for power and dominance HAS manifested. SO IF YOU WANT A CROOKED DICTATOR THAT DECEIVES W/ EASE & CONFIDENCE ITS UR CHOICE.He quite simply uses abuses and throws people away. For example Alice Palmer an accomplished African American who's seat he pretty much stole. another, Bobby rush a well respected black panther.REV. WRIGHT ILL START WITH THOSE.(HE seems to target his own race unfairly.) He has methodically made friends in high places ,and acquired unimagined sums of money! (but he Pays women 83cents on the dollar.) He has perverted the media with his anti facts, celebrity endorsements, countless million dollar t.v. ads, ads on many other media outlets as well. he targets all groups of people!!!! red, yellow, black,& white he tells them what they want to hear, speaks in a tone and speed that leaves you in a sort of trance,do you ever feel confused? Why did Hillary say he didn't have the experience or know how 2b pres.THEN SUPPORT HIM? YOU TELL ME! he voted present 133 times while in office to avoid controversial issues and avoid revealing his OWN opinions.WHY???because he's a DECEITFUL OPPORTUNIST, THAT preys upon the uninformed AND PEOPLE WHO TRULY CARE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY AND SEEK POSITIVE CHANGE... DON'T BE A PAWN IN THE DEMISE OF THE FREE WORLD. I TELL YOU THESE THINGS WITH NO HIDDEN MOTIVES JUST FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR CHILDREN MINORITIES AND THE UNEDUCATED.PLEASE THINK AND RESEARCH BEFORE YOU VOTE EVEN THOUGH OBAMA HAS COVERED HIS TRACKS BEAUTIFULLY YOU WILL FIND THE TRUTH IF YOU OPEN YOUR EYES.THANK YOU I HOPE I HAVEN'T OFFENDED ANYONE EXCEPT OBAMA AND THOSE WHO HAVE DISCREET ARRANGEMENTS AND,OR AFFILIATIONS WITH HIM(I PITY YOU OBAMA WILL PROBABLY NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE HE KNEW YOU! AND MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING HE PROMISED OR COMPENSATE YOU IN ANY WAY THAT MEANS NO PAY.HIS WAY OR THE HIGHWAY.!!!!!!(LOOKS LIKE YOUR SCREWED AND IF HE'S COMMANDER AND CHIEF YOU WILL SOON HAVE TO OBEY HIM! JUST LIKE HE PLANNED.YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. NOW I MUST GO.

My only complaint about the event was that the candidates were reading WAY too much. Considering the circumstances, I can understand, but it still seemed excessive. Nonetheless, very funny on behalf of both parties. As a McCain2000 supporter, though, McCain's closing made me long for the days the former McCain. I felt a touch of sadness following his speech.

This is a first time utterance in my Obama-maniac-ness ... McCain was the better man. WOW. The petname as Bush comment nearly had me falling off my chair and unto my head! I like BO's delivery, but McCain came out the victor here in my book.
GOBAMA!!!!

Obama's closing comments are worth reading...
"Beyond the walls of this hotel, on the streets of one of the greatest cities in the wealthiest nation on earth, there are men and women and children who have fallen on hard times and hard luck, who can't find work, or even a job that pays enough to keep a roof over their heads. Some are hanging on just by a thread.
Scripture says God creates us for works of service. We are blessed to have so many organizations like this one and the Catholic Diocese that perform these acts of God every day.
But each of us also has that responsibility. Each of us has that obligation, especially now. No matter who we are or what we do, what I believe each of us in this room asks for and hopes for and prays for enough strength and wisdom to do good and to seek justice and play our small part in building a more hopeful and compassionate worlds for the generations that will follow.
Before Al Smith was a candidate who made history, he was a man who made a difference, a man who fought for many years to give Americans nothing more than a fair shake and a chance to succeed. And he touched the lives of hundreds of thousands -- of millions as a result. Simply put, he helped people.
That's a distinction we can all aspire to, that we can all achieve, young or old, rich or poor, Democrat or Republican or independent. And I have no doubt that if we come together at this moment of crisis with this goal in mind, America will meet this challenge and weather this storm, and, in the words of Al Smith, "walk once more in eternal sunshine."
Thank you so much, everybody. God bless you. "

Agree completely. This is something I hope my future children can read in their history classes. THIS is words of leadership. Regardless of political stance, everyone must see that this is quite a strong speech.

Wow, that's actually really cool that they got together and could laugh at themselves, and one another, without getting all nasty. THAT'S what should be playing on the airwaves, instead of all the negativity.
