I think she totally bombed on the show, actually handed it to SNL... she first said, "I don't think that was an accurate portrayal of how my press conference would go" (or something to that affect) - Hello! She's right, Fey answered alot more questions they she ever would have. And then again, when she went up to the podium... admitted "I'm not going to answer any of your questions"... she never does anyways. I think SNL wrote it pretty accurately.

McCain and Palin will be doing every show they can get on. Her performance was what I expected not many words said. But she is even doing CNN this afternoon in the Situation Room. Wow. I hope Wolfe ask some good questions about the investigation in Alaska, still in progress. The campaign is about out of money this is their way to adverstise..Way to go main stream media, we might finally get some real answers..

I've been writing on a bunch of these about this appearance, and I'm very disappointed in SNL. I feel like i remember Jim Downey (the SNL writer) stating somewhere how little he liked the sketch where the person being impersonated confronts the actor, and this happened twice Saturday, and one of those times was an attempt to come across cool by the V.P. candidate. SNL should hang their heads in shame. It's not because of her political views, it's because she is allowed to do that. SNL should be ruthless to both candidates, instead they've all appeared on the show. And a rap bit? please...

This is nothing short of disgusting... a very shameful episode for America. The world is watching closely as we allow this woman to mock and make fun of us all.
We will all be better off when this ignorant, arrogant, evangelical bitch disappears into the great unknown once again.
Good job Repubs... good job...

SNL did NOT invite her. Her campaign called Lorne Michaels repeatedly asking if they could book her on the show, after Tina Fey started doing the impersonation. Lorne Michaels agreed - for the ratings.

I think it was a good idea for her to go on the show since Tina Fey has been getting so much feedback for portrayal Sarah Palin. I thought she was fine, but then Josh Brolin comes out and bashes the bush administration and makes a comment about McCain. I also think that John McCain had a field day calling Obama a celebrity and now hes having Sarah Palin go on SNL.
