I am glad this is happening. I'm not a fan of SNL (never watched the show before) but hearing about this got really annoying.

The Real Sarah Palin should think about a career in film, her unscripted speechs and talks are just out of this world. Its' hard to tell the difference between Tina Fey and Sarah Palin. Even the voice and expressions seem so real. You guys have to catch the interview with President Nicolas Sarkozy.

That's not a big deal. Who cares if she is done playing Palin.
I feel bad for all the comedians that made a career from making fun of Bush. What will they do next. Huh?

Imagine if McCain won? He might mistake her for Palin and she would be Vice President.

One of the funniest things I've seen in years. I will miss you Tina Palin. And I am beyond glad I won't be seeing more of you.

They could really run with this, though. The random episode with Palin just kinda hangin' out trying to gain attention.
Tina Fey did such a good job.

True, that is a realistic possiblity. Fey did such a convincing job that, in the long run, Pailin might join Dan Quayle as an automatic political punchline.

I just imagine a sad situation when the Republican party forgets Palin and she ends up doing Tina Fey impressions for attention.

I think it all depends on what Palin decides to do. If in four years (...or sooner, depending on how the situation with Senator Stevens shakes out), she decides to re-enter the political arena, Fey would be hard pressed not to put on the glasses and put up her hair for the role...it's just too good of a bit not to use, and Fey (...not to mention Lorne Michaels) should know this.

I agree. You don't want to give the wrong people too much attention.
