This unique mixed show question, comment, satirize, situations, events, & world news through humor, sketch, parody & other means. The 1st segment focus on a situation in the island country of Sri Lanka. Currently prominence is given to events of two groups(1 majority & 1 terrorist faction) two symbols that represent two groups are much publicized so...wat happen to other ethnic groups?
You might find humor in this piece if you know the political situation in Lanka.
(sri lanka has lion on flag they are called the lion people(flag has other symbols that represent other groups, currently there are many other ethnic groups who live there in peace including sinhalese, tamil, moors-muslim, veddha, burgher(descendants of dutch, portugues, & english colonizers & chinese traders r there) but an aggressive terrorist group ltte use guerilla tactics to keep many in fear because they want their separate nation in small island size of maryland-(can travel one end of island to other end in one day)many want 1 nation & unity.
Official national langs of lanka:1.sinhala spoken by majority & 78% of sinhalese, 2.tamil (spoken by minority sri lankan tamils 13% some muslims speak it too), & 3. english spoken by many in addition to the other two. To make the total population:5 % moors, 4% other round up the numbers. (Many culd be mixed & they all range from dark to light no matter the ethnicity). in religion a majority are practicing Buddhists(74%-Theravada), some r Hindus(10%), Islam(6%), other 10% r Christian, Catholic, Anglican, Bahai, Sai Baba, various other beliefs.
This segment is also give a glimpse that sometimes both complain like whiney baby lions & tigers wah wah(pictured) sometimes concerns are legitimate but we just trying to make light & we never believe in PC-political correctness. we hope to incorporate graphics to symbolize & add on humor.
My dream: Always wanted to submit & do a lil sidekick bit to John Stewart of the Daily show or a sketch segment for Colbert report.i lov deadpan comedy(i really tried to becom Steven Colberts brown friend this last year or Sri Lankan friend but I didnt submit my sketches, I only wrote to him on his myspace & facebook asking if I can be his brown friend-) I admire style of Carlos Mencia & even Chelsea Handler. I love old style comedy of Andy Kaufman or even a Jerry Lewis. I love boldness of Michael Moore in questioning the system.
Thought to do a small 3-5 minute online sketch segment with a Sri Lankan-American Flavor because that is my background. I was born in Lanka but came to the US with my parents when I was eight and grew up here. So my humor, style, & attitude is like 90% American, but I keep good values from both cultures. Even on my best dirty days, i can never be too dirty or evil dirty, always end up somewhat sweet, now what the F#*#& is that all about? some seem to think thats funny :-(
well this next election let us work together to get polyandry on the ballot. Thank you!
like to tell it like it is .
So enjoy these ObscenViews. :-) :-P

Dear Jeffnfun631,
Thank you for your thoughts. And what exactly is this nfun? sounds thrilling. Hope you are enjoying your TG day. As it is said "cute is as cute does"
Well according to one meaning: the premise in this piece is not a building, Ms. Biachchi is somewhere in space because Brad V, wanted to do something grand.
According to anther definition, our 2nd writing associate NVM, has stated it in the article. & to further explain The premise is of a fake universal news show where Ms. Biachchi comments on world situations, ponders, gives only the very important news & this piece happen to focus on an island country far off in the distance.Ms. Biachchi noted that you have a sexy smile.
Thanks to all of you, I have promoted myself.

Heather,
We promptly thank you for your response on behalf of Ms. Biachchi in recognizing the humor. And she states that you do not need to insult her cultural affectations in the heathers style. The production team will take your suggestions into consideration. You may or may not know the Sinhala way, but many of them are soft spoken people and sometimes there is a deliberate dragging on of speaking to emphasise different points:(our writer calls it something like rasawath story?- we felt that Sasha carried it of quite well in English. Our test audience was quite happy with the results & got humor up to their ass at the end. We are very pleased with the segment. With your influence many maybe irritated & consider it a waste of time. And many may think that on their own.
That is great because we want a wide variety of opinions & freedom of expressions on this show. But we really love it that you took the time to respond to this piece of crap(can use it when we need to fire her ass), just between u & me, dont ever tell Ms. Biachchi i told you- she wants money & We ain't paying her a dime! She knows what she had to do to get this gig, and she will have to do more of it.Have a good thanksgiving!

Thank you Mr. Shweatz for handling comments. You really don't have to do that. It is true that most of the time many sinhalese are soft spoken & friendly. Yet there are instances where they can be real bs#*#&& like anyone of any background. I strongly believe that people are good bad evil nice not nice regardless of color, ethnic bacground, size, appearance...
One attribute does not apply to all & can apply to some. I know many can be passive or quiet, but can be tough when needed to be. There are street vendors who can be loud. We cannot stereotype but comedy deals with many stereotypes.
Personally, I can be soft spoken at times, but i m known to be loud on stage & even outspoken off it--depends on where I am. I think generally they are soft, told to smile thru it all but many are expressing themselves more because sometimes it is ok to be angry or yell or be firm, loud or quick.
Mr. Shweatz, I do not think u can say what u said about firing her, please be cautious in your language!
I would like to thank Sasha for coming to audition for us. She & two other people were the only ones who submitted. Brad & Mr. Shweatz liked Sasha right away. I had some reservations but the other two did not have any anchoring experience or acting experience. I thought we chose her fairly since she was the only qualified candidate. Mr. Shweatz I hope u are not doing anything wierd.
All I know is that right after the audition, Mr. Shweatz & Brad both gave her their cards, then after Brad left, Mr. Shweatz offered to drop off Sasha at the bus stop a mile down from our studio.
What happened exactly? and what did u make her do?
I am not coming into the studio until next week. I am finishing up the 4th script.

It was humorous, but the speaking was very soft and needlessly slow. If you only have about 1 minute of good material, deliver it promptly and clearly, do not drag it out - a lot of people will be irritated by it and consider it a waste of time whether or not they got the humor of it in the end.
