When it came to the physical aspects, aside from the fact that I still am unable to grow a beard, I had it pretty lucky. I had pimples, I still do, but never more than a few and none anywhere else on my body. I grew hair in the right places and avoided most of the wrong ones. My voice, with the exception of the occasional crack, never sounded too ridiculous. I grew at a fairly even rate from seventh grade through freshman year of college avoiding any stretch marks or odd length limbs. The one thing that I had a lot of trouble with though, that plagued me on an almost daily basis, was my penis.

I don't recall any unexpected times, but it was ready when needed. But then I was very active and played a lot of sports (not a jock).

Arguing over who goes through a rougher time at puberty is silly. We are individuals and everyone's experience is unique.

good point. Girls may have it rough, but guys have to put up with the girls while they are "blossoming". So we have boners and mood swings to deal with.

Why is puberty any harder for a girl than a guy? Women always try to pull that card.

At least your goods are all there from the get go, nothing external changes. We, on the other hand, get to "develop" additional anatomy and well as curving out what's already there. We feel different, we look different, we're getting different attention. It's all quite difficult to handle.

oh yeah, and there's the added fun of getting the hang of the unwelcome monthly devil woman visitor. i remember waaaay too many times trying to slyly adjust a makeshift toilet paper "pad," having come to school unprepared and unawares, constantly trying to twist and contort my body to see if there is a mortifying stain visible on the back of my pants. (extra fun during p.e.!) that is if you can even get out of bed and leave your heating pad behind.
not that this is a competition or anything.

The trick is not to think about the erection and just let it do its thing then its done and you go to class, and if you catch urself with one of those massive ones that just won't go away, just go to bathroom and..... you know what I mean

I don't know how to feel being a girl and still finding this amusing. Maybe I should re-evaluate things.

I used to do the tuck up, but I called it the uptuck. Either way, it looks awesome and feels good!
