The vegetables were a huge turnoff. Who's idea was it to change it from strawberries to broccoli? Although I do like the People for the Eating of Tasty Animals myself, it was just a bad commercial as I stated earlier.

For PETA, this is routine stuff. Apparently, enough people support these nuts- how else could they afford these ads? Some misguided people!! Yes, I will admit, though, I love cats- properly baked with Lyonaise sauce!

Letter to PETA:
It is a shame when an organization decides to try to make a point by preying on base sexuality rather than making an intelligent point. You have stooped to a new low PETA.
Although I support much of PETA’s effort to educate the world regarding your causes, I have to wonder now what lengths you would go to in order to get your point across. I fully support the ban on your recent ad campaign by NBC.I think that somewhere in your advertising, especially these newer commercials – the ‘Ethical’ part of PETA has gotten lost.
What about the Ethical treatment of families, who are affected so negatively by our society’s addiction to pornography? Your commercial is nothing more than that – soft core porn meant to get attention by exploiting sex. How unintelligent and uncreative.
Look at the statistics on how many families are affected by sexual addictions because we are constantly visually assaulted by organizations that apparently can’t make an intelligent point without sexual imagery. On your website, in order to post a message on the forum, you require adherence to the following guidelines:
Thanks for wanting to join PETA's forum! Before you join, take a quick moment to read over the sorts of activities that will get you kicked off (hopefully there won't be any surprises):
• Posting any information that is vulgar, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others' privacy, sexually oriented, or in violation of any laws (Does that shock you? Then you probably shouldn't be posting here.)
• Posting sexual solicitations, personal ads, arrangements to meet in person, invitations to "cyber," or any message with extremely sexual content or links to pornography
• Posting off-topic content or "spam" (PETA's forum exist to help animals. If you're here to be a "hater," just save us the trouble of deleting all your posts by leaving now.)
• Registering with a user name that is offensive
What hypocrites you are. PETA’s slogan is ‘Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.’ But apparently, women are fair game for entertainment, whether standing at the roadside in bikinis and cages, or in these offensive commercials. When placing these ads on television, you are “posting a message with extremely sexual content”. That’s cruelty to families, and unethical.Congratulations. You got some attention. Your commercials will be circulated among scores of porn addicts and teenage boys. They will live on forever in video files – where they will be watched in secret by people with no concern for your cause. They will not be shared by families trying to teach their children about the ethical treatment of humans or animals. What useless trash you have created with my very last donations to your organization.

Honestly, I'm happy they pulled it. Im already a vegetarian and that didn't appeal to me or make me proud to be one.
Nothing to do with sexuality. But the fact is, WHAT does vegetarianism or veganism have to do with being good in bed? Seriously. AND if it were a real study, they would cite it.
I get vegs eat more foods that promote longevity--vegetables, fruits and whole grains--to make up for the hole in their diet, and I mean I would assume that someone who is healthier = better in bed because you are a bit more agile and can last longer (physically, "LASTING" is the guys issue lol). But I know TONS of vegetarians that are not in fantastic shape - Shoot - I need to workout more and eat better... meat or no meat - and tons of people who eat meat... in moderation... that are perfectly healthy.
I know vegs that are lacking in essential vitamins and people who eat meat who aren't.
Im not saying its one way or the other (again, I don't eat meat!) but its everything in moderation. Going Vegan or Vegetarian or Pescatarian or WHATEVER should be a persons choice - not something they are doing because PETA is falsely advertising that you'll be a sex goddess as soon as you stop eating meat and make making stew a sexy time.
Am I good in bed? Who knows. I havent gotten complaints. But im not better or no worse compared to when I ate meat and now that I don't.

This ad is no more sexually explicit than hundreds of ads and TV shows they do run. The reason they are pulling it is the same reason most corporations do anything: money. The ad might actually be effective, and would thereby offend half their other advertisers - McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Wendy's, KFC, Quiznoz, and Weenerschnitzel.

as a vegan, i would like to first off give a whole-hearted fuck you to PETA, because they are constantly making vegans/vegetarians look like psychotic militant assholes, and i would even agree with those who oppose it that their style is a bit vehement.
despite this ad's explicit content. it's very poorly made, it says nothing of the vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, it just exploits women in their 'standard of beauty' and gives a slogan that shows nothing about the benefits of a veg lifestyle. just because sex sells, it doesn't mean that it will always work. - 3 years ago

My bananas come from Central America so we should scrap that area of agriculture... Oranges from Chile, Florida, and California... Brockley lettuce peas corn beans tofu and that stuff is all out... It's all flown and then trucked to the millions of people in the northeast...
Let see I can eat tree bark, snow, and maybe even shoot a deer? Oops no can't do that...

i think they should have evened out the playing field a little bit.
why are there just sexy girls in there?
I understand that the audience of the superbowl is mostly men, but guys need to understand that there are sexy male vegetarians out there too.
I know that breaking the male stereotype of fat, beer-guzzling, meat-eating, football-watching DUDE is hard for america, but come on, it's necessary.
Sexy girls flaunting themselves just sets those guys up for disappointment when they can't attract them because they are gross meat-eating pigs.

Getting people to do something for the wrong reasons is like not getting them to do it at all.
Trying to use sex and rock n' roll to protect animal welfare just seems weird.
If you can't make a case on the facts of the matter, then perhaps you don't have a case to begin with?
If they wanted to get a real response, why don't they just spend the ? million to show that sickening video of fishermen using kittens as shark bait.
There's a nerve to touch, because it might make everyone realize animals have feelings too even if they can't express them.
Perhaps a half veggie-sex, half-kitty bait commercial to really f*ck with peoples emotions?

Regardless of what it stands for it is racy for tv, all tv is getting that way. Case in point, I was watching tv last night, laughing along at a sitcom, they were saying the word sex addict. My five year old looks up at me and says "I am a sex addict mom" and although it does seem funny (and I am always guilty of almost laughing) she still said something highly inappropriate and beyond her understanding. Things don't need to be "Sexy" to get the point across that vegetarians are healthy. It's counterproductive.
