I think the point of of the piece has been overlooked.
Interesting analogy of the child playing sort of 'god' over the rest of the frogs------so he crucifies one of their own in front of them.----to help their kind.
It questions the Biblical story-----seeing how cruel, barbaric and tragic the idea of a god able to crucify anything, at all....

I have converted to the Church of Fresus. Fresus has died upon the very small cross for my sins, and the sins of the world. You can't prove me wrong, so my religious logic says it must be right. Don't question my belief in Fresus, I have faith that does not need to answer to science or rationality.

The age 30-ish moral teachings are good.
From the crucifixion onwards the entire story is ridiculous.
If I knew more about history, I would rewrite it to save the present and future. Maybe next year. lol
