Jennifer Aniston Dumped Geeky John Mayer Because He Twitters Too Much

Image

Apparently, actress Jennifer Aniston ended her relationship with musician John Mayer because he loved Twitter more than her, a report in The Telegraph claims. Okay, that’s not entirely true. What Aniston is said to be upset about is that Mayer wouldn’t return her calls or reach out to her in anyway because he claimed he was too busy with work. But his Twitter account says otherwise, Aniston found out.

    • It's interesting how people get so into twitter that they get the feeling they are highly connected, however, they have no real life connections. Twitter can be useful but people need to find the right balance between twitter and real life experiences.

    • OMG LIKE I TOTALLY CAN'T BELIEVE IT WTF...

      ...Oh wait, I actually don't give a shit! If all Jen Aniston has to worry about is how much her boyfriend is Twittering, she should consider herself DAMN LUCKY.

    • Hmmm... shit happens. Ppl change and maybe Mayer's way of dealing with "The Break-Up" was to twitter instead of return calls.

      Hotness =/= absolute relationship sustainability.

      Plus, isn't Mayer known to be 1 that gets bored of women he dates fast anyway? (Jenn. Love Hew, Jess. Simp, and now...Jen. Ani?)

    • This is such a silly story, perfect example of the media going a bit silly over celebrities and twitter. and I'm suprised how crap this photo is of her considering it's on the usually great GQ.

    • Surprising that Demi Moore hasn't dumped Ashton Kutcher after he tweeted a photo of her bum! I guess the saying goes... boys will be boys.

    • Oh snap, that's a long way to fall. Twitter over Jenniffer Aniston? I wonder if some users may feel too connected and thus cause themselves a fair deal of annoyance. Add that up to the mammoth mobile phone bill and the being compelled to tell your acquaintances to stop cluing you in on what they are doing every so often. Unlike other micro blogging sites, it seems Twitter users are either totally into it or not.

    • The Telegraph article is in the link above.

      A "friend" of Aniston said "There he was, telling her he didn't have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates.

      "Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he'd update with some stupid line. And in her mind, she was like 'He has time for all this Twittering, but he can't send me a text, an email, make a call?'."

      Bad enough losing out to Angelina Jolie but to a microblogging app!
