This commercial highlights a woman's merging of everyday life with her dream world, without compromising her own self image... or even her quirky "guys guy" boyfriend! well, allow me to filmgeek out about it and explain how I see it. she does become empowered. and he comes to meet her at her new level, so he is redeemable. henceforth, a dude stumbles into beauty world and finally sees how awesome and beautiful his girlfriend is. so they both have arcs.

The cinematography is really good. I don't get the chili dog thing, though. Also, this should be about an empowered woman, not a woman who settles for a relationship with someone she thinks is annoying. Does she have low self esteem or something?

The dry humor is fantastic.

This ad starts with a beautiful natural woman looking at a magazine with a beautiful male model, and the story progresses, showing us how to choose the best, showing us we can be beautiful anytime, showing us we don't have to compromise. That starts with ourselves.

Anyone with objective intelligence can see that.

Cute commercial, but you really missed the mark with your client.

The commercial begins with negativity -- a deadly move when you only have 30 seconds to sell your product.

Also, you're selling a "pure & natural" product on an annoyed model who has to ESCAPE to "Beauty World" in order to enjoy her makeup.

The existing campaign for this makeup is light, fresh & airy from start to finish. Leslie Bibb represents young, bright girls who aren't compromising chemicals for beauty as their cosmetic predecessors have.

While the chilidog thing is cute, it's a tad gimmicky and only sells the product to a VERY SMALL demographic of women.

Overall, nice production value & good luck in the competition!

Well, put together commercial, but it's boring and just like every other make-up commercial out there. I thought the whole idea was to be new and unique?

The commercial has a playful and inviting feel to it - from the contagious laugh and opening line of the male actor to the pleasant and engaging smile of the actress. The tone actually made me want to watch the commercial and even consider the brand. Hope it hits national television.
