    • DrPhiloneous is right, people. Jack Black is my favorite celebrity ever, and there's a reason for that, man! He's a hardcore rocker who's the bloody sex! He's the God of Comedy! He's amazing, really. And as for Michael Cera, a very talented actor! He did an great job in all his films.
They're bothawesome people and Jack Black should be immortal because he's so awesome.

    • Oooh ooh!! I wonder if Michael Cera plays a nervous, lovable nerd that can never get the girl, but in the end he somehow does. And Jack Black is like the oh so funny cool guy, and we learn a valuable lesson in the end.

    • Jack Black is perhaps one of the most unique comedic performers out there right now. You either love him or you hate him (cliche, I know.) Personally, I find his timing to be one of the most original of any comedy actor out there.

I'm actually really excited about "Year One." Combining Black's outrageous and overly confident "alpha-male wannabe" shtick with Cera's dry, humble mumble was a great idea and I think it will work.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

    • Agree. certainly not a leading man, but when given a good script, he can deliver. My most memorable bits from him are actually from the MTV awards a few years back. His Spiderman and Lord of the ring skits were gold.

    • I really wish this would not happen. It's nothing but a huge $$$$ grab for the studio which made this garbage.

This continual pushing of him onto the viewing public is getting a bit nauseating.

Wasn't one of Black's films last year so bad the producers refused to give them clips to promote???

He's just another sausage thrown at the wall that just happened to get stuck. Not too much in the talent category. But, as they always say....

"He's such a nice guy"! Just like Sandler, just like LaDoof, just like Schneider, just like Stiller and all the other doofuses the marketing geniuses in Hollywood continue to insist the public likes.

What a shame. He's no leading man, that's for DAMN sure!
