In an attemp to capture attention five elephants were led on a walkabout to send a message to the Thai public not to ignore its elephants, the symbolic animal of Thailand, as a new born Panda has been in the publics eye

  Any hair on an elephant is a bad thing. Those poor guys are burning up as it is (hence the large ears).
