On first glance, the snapshot appears to show President Obama caught in a moment of less than lofty analysis. But upon looking at the video, producers back in DC tell me, the moment seems to actually be quite innocent -- one of those times when a picture can be misleading. The president was on a higher step and was stepping down -- so he looked down to assure his footing as the woman was walking up the stairs.

This isn't news. But if figures it is what a US Media blog would follow.

No one is asking you to comment on it JanforGore if you have such a problem with it.
And after all, it is posted under Comedy

"this is stupid' is a valid comment. Especially on a blind posting place like this when 90% is so very very stupid. I think the question is whether or not it deserves the news tag.
I think it does since it is undoubtedly going to appear everywhere. The pic is just too funny. I'm sure It's at least going to go across the desk of the late night talk shows. They may not use it but they will think about it.

Who told you that you get decide what is news and what isn't news? Maybe better question is WHAT is news? It is no doubt subjective, what's news to you may not be news to others and therefore the converse is true. Try not to decide for others as much as possible.

Who told you that you have a right to judge my opinions? No one is telling you or the first responder to respond to me either. IN MY OPINION this is not important news and it isn't funny. Don't like that opinion, tough.

THAT opinion is perfectly acceptable, had you said that to begin with we wouldn't be having this discourse. You made a blanket statement of fact at first. To say it isn't "important news" in your personal "opinion" is absolutely correct. You don't get to tell others what is and isn't news you do get to share your opinions at will - it's that simple.

eldamon,
Calm down, go get laid.
It should be expected that any comments are in fact a matter of opinion. We don't need you, the comment police, to make sure that is the case.

Geez, JanforGore, I don't know why some folks are so angered by your response. You're absolutely entitled to respond however you like. I don't think it's news either--it's a misleading photo. But, if others think it is news, so be it. No worries. Have a great day :)

Goddamn these stupid "I have the right to my opinion" arguments! EVERYONE has the right to their opinion- if it's "this is stupid" or "your comment is stupid" or "your comment about my comment is stupid" it doesn't matter! Everyone has the same amount of "right" to say whatever they want.
