5 Pathetic Groups That People Think Rule the World

There were at one point in time people who used to say the world was flat. When others came along and said it was round they were laughed at and ridiculed.
It didn't change the fact that they were right.

Why are people so afraid of a world governing body? Having a one-world government is bound to happen one day. We NEED a one-world government to help allocate resources better and eliminate border tensions. Is there a potential for abuse? Of course there is. However, thats no reason to believe there is a conspiracy to secretly take over the world. Belief in the NWO or Illuminati are just as crazy as thinking Jews are behind the global economic recession -_-

I guess the original poster didn't bother to read the comments section either or else he would have read that many of the readers don't agree with the writer or the way he potrayed the groups, or the way he portrayed people who know that these groups are up to no good.

And he mixed in lizard people just to make the notion of secret societies ridiculous - a common disinformation tactic.

the irony in all this conspiracy mumbo jumbo is that people are too selfish and greedy to collectively do anything, let alone take over the world. The only group that will ever accomplish said task is a mob. And that is unlikely, too, because people are to much of cowards to risk loosing all their "things" for a cause. so we are stuck having to listen to all this garbage until it really does fall apart.

I got to the UN part and the writer ADMITS that the UN is trying to establish a governing world body.

Then I got to the CFR part of the article and the writer ADMITS that they are a powerful, influential think tank.

So in effect, the writer is actually admitting that there are powerful groups that are jockeying for control over the world, but then laughs it off as ridiculous notion.

It's just an exercise in doublethink. Orwell wrote about doublethink in 1984:
