Crazy week in entertainment; I mean there is a huge event taking place right this second and it has to do with everything geeky. It is the annual Comic-Con in San Diego. They are showing off some of the hottest movies coming out and believe me a few have got us spinning in our chairs here at Overdos3. Get ready for a bumpy ride in EP17.
Watchmen: The Director’s Cut and Watchmen: The Complete Experience released this week, so we start with a discussion on this, and other superhero, movies. We also talk about how some movies are just better viewed at home and the perils of playing movie based video games.
We stick to movies next and talk about the Tron: Legacy trailer and screenshots which have come out of Comic-Con this week. We talk a little about the San Diego Comic-Con. What has us the most jazzed- Iron Man 2, Astro Boy, Kristen Bell, Avatar, Star Trek, Book of Eli and Twilight: New Moon.
Our last movie based story is on the rumors of Sam Raimi directing a movie based off of World of Warcraft… WTF?
Jimmy takes the wheel next to discuss the G.I. Joe Season 1.1 DVD boxed set.

Next up is a new segment- “The Five Minute Run Down” – In this segment we talk for no more than five minutes on some things we have been playing/watching/thinking about. For the first segment we talk about Wii Sports Resort, Little King’s Story, Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Tech and space talk takes center stage next as we talk about how the Hubble Telescope photographed a giant scar on Jupiter.
We end our show with world news- namely how President Bush almost sent the military into Buffalo to arrest a terror group.
This week the Wowdemoblog hit of the week is the scariest take on the old tune “John Henry” ever produced… Prepare to be horrified!!!
