The student in Kinshasa wanted to know President Obama's opinion on a Chinese loan to the Congo. However, a translator and instead asked her what she thought President Clinton thought, at which point she incredulously opened a can of whoopass.
"You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?" she asked.
She then continued "My husband is not secretary of state, I am. I am not going to be channeling my husband."

She was so attractive during the campaign. I know I'll take flack for this but she needs to get a new dresser.
If the Holy Roller Palin showed up in that suit she would be out of any and all runnings for anything forever and ever. Hill needs some style and needs to hold her head up again. She was kicked to the curb and whether you care for her or not she was really mistreated. I would love to see her get the rosey back in her cheeks, maybe a little Botox and a better outfitter and kick ass. She can do it. Who is making her decisions to go away for so long? - 3 years ago

Amazon Princess is correct. The translator is an idiot.
I would have said the same thing with a little more humor. She was very tired. What kind of an idiot asks that question? Or was it indeed the translator? - 3 years ago

Look what I found at Yahoo under NEWS.....
---The French-speaking student later said he had meant to say President Barack Obama, according to U.S. officials traveling with Clinton. It was unclear whether that meant he misspoke or the translator erred.
"Perhaps he was nervous," Crowley said.
Asked if Clinton had any regrets about losing her cool, Crowley tried to deflect the question, saying she was not available to get her thoughts. At the time, Clinton was en route between stops during her 10-day tour in Africa, and she did not address the outburst to reporters traveling with her in the Congo.------

Or perhaps the local police took him into a back room and showed him the error of his ways. This is a good example of the ignorance displayed by U.S.politicians when coming to Africa. Hillary threw a hissy fit and then walked away scot free, never considering that this student may be beaten within an inch of his life for embarassing the Congo Government. She needs clip on her tongue and a boot up the ass to remind her of the results of her loss of temper. Anyone with training as a facilitator or negotiator knows that you always repeat the question posed to you, just to buy time and ensure that you completely understand the question. She completely failed and needs to go back for more training. This incident displays her arrogance toward the "little people". A childish display of temper, not acceptable in her position.

Holding a high post of Secretary of State Hillary travels the world representing American people, values and interests. If Hillary's thinks American public would like her to show the WORLD that she lost a bet and could not win presidency as Bill did, or that she is unhappy with her marriage, or that some women can be explosive and can not compose to respond with respect when under minimum pressure; then in my opinion she did a great job.

There are certain times in a month that it is best to tread carefully around a woman. The slightest misdemeanor can be met with a nuclear blast. Thank goodness, that Barack is President, otherwise,Congo could be destroyed.
Seriously, I watched much of her interview in Kenya and she was composed, articulate, and very impressive. However, exhaustion, PMS, or any other excuse is not acceptable for a professional in her position. I suspect it displays some latent racism, as she was so eager to attack this innocent student. Patience when dealing with citizens outside of the U.S. is necessary, as she represents the U.S. profile to many people. I am not surprised. Under pressure her true nature exerted itself. Kudo's to Bill Clinton for putting up with her all of these years, it must have been hell!

After so much traveling, things may get to her. I would give her a break on this. Being a wife of the former president, who has put her on the edge many times, this woman (Hillary) is doing pretty good.
But then again, I think Hilary has serious ego problem. I would NOT ever seek the president post or SOS post if I had her money and comfort. In other words, it's not worth it to be in such position. The again, I have never been an SOS, so I would not know how great it is to be one.
In any case, if the translator were an employee of the State Dept, it's time to cut him/her lose before more embarrassing moments would hit her.

John,
Clinton didn't rescue Laura and Euna. That's a wild exaggeration. Kim Jong Ill wanted to pose with him because he is full of shit as we all know that but Clinton didn't negotiate anything. The State Dep. did it it's just that those unnamed officials are never in the headlines. But they deserve the credit not Bill Clinton -- who wouldn't have gone to NK without a deal already being in place. For him it was a simple thing. And it's not that he was working on their release from March like other people did -- including Hillary and Gore. Clinton was just part of a photo op -- a pretty ridiculous one I must add.

What can you expect. She lived in the shadow of her husband's position for eight years.(Then the world found out about her husbands positions with his intern) Talk about embarrassing!
When she tried to match him, she was beaten out by guy who has way less experience then her.
I think this little episode of hers is indicative of the kind of egos running around on the Hill.
Secrectary of State. LOL. I bet it really pisses her off having secretary in her job title?
I think it would be prudent for these politicians to remember they are servants of the PUBLIC's TRUST!
And if we can't trust them to keep their tempers and ego's in check, it may well be past time for the PUBLIC to remove them from their positions.
Too bad the PUBLIC is so goddamned dumbed down, as to not be able to act accordingly!!!

If you don't think something is newsworthy not clicking and not reading it would be akin to that line of thinking as well as voting it down.
Voicing an opinion on that matter has no real reason to exist outside of being obnoxious for the hell of it. It isn't positive and sure the hell isn't helpful.

But regardless, Obama is our president and I am glad I voted for him.
And as for this article goes, Hillary should have just swallowed her emotions and answered politely, "Well, I can't speak for my husband, however, I can tell you what I think..." She just made herself look like the bitch she is, always trying to prove herself. She doesn't have to prove herself, she is where she is because of her hard work and we all know that. It was an extremely close race between Obama and Hillary, so "the people" didn't necessarily think one was better than the other.
Obama is president because Florida violated the Primary Election rules. Had Florida gone along and voted when they were supposed to, Hillary would've been ahead of Obama for the entire race and never lost her momentum.
The race could've gone either way (and Florida has messed up 2 elections now!!).
