    • There will never be another Woodstock because there are no songs being made in the world today.
I saw a great bumber sticker the other day that read, "There once were songs".

Yes I'm commenting below your video ;)

I can totally share your sentiment about facebook and what can be called the selfish generation. I actually was naive enough to try to raise a group of friends on facebook to meet and discuss a plan for universal healthcare. I was met with similar results and got 1 person, who happened to be my sister who lives in italy. So a little momentum was lost on the facebook idea. Granted I live in Los Angeles, the most friedmanist city in this country.

Currently I'm thinking of taking a grass roots approach, but based on actual conversations I have with people in my city I doubt its realistic. However I am thinking of making a trip to some region truly progressive (hope it exist) to get things going. Being the lone ranger is fine, but all revolutions happened with at least a group of people organizing.

Asherp, have you ever seen the bbc documentary titled "century of the self" it takes a stab at examining how we we became selfish consumerist a-holes with no sense of humanity.
