Hot August Dream

I played a large pipe organ at
the front of a cathedral once
for a packed congregation that
was there to worship – God – but so
Was I! Although the peculiar
part may have been that I was nude –
completely … magnificently
making music naked … buttocks
Planted on the dark wooden bench
and my fingers whisking over
the ivories like a dark wizard
and I was sweating profusely –
Abundantly – saturating
and matting the hair covering
my exposed body like a wild …
wild animal man in my prime!
Feeling the fever! It was bare
as the bellowing sound in our
ears! And so blissfully fine - this
cathartic service WAS ALL MINE!
