Are these ads supposed to entice you into eating talking food?

When your food starts talking to you, that's a clear sign that something's wrong. Especially if it gives you inane trivia, like these Mameshiba ads are.

Found at TokyoMango, these ads strike me as unfailingly creepy. Apart from having a jelly bean pop out of a bag and tell me about a Koala's appendix, the music adds an atmosphere that makes me incredibly uncomfortable. I'm sure it's supposed to invoke feelings of wonder, but all that crosses my mind is abject fear. Those beans are going to try and kill me.
