Wonder why Russell Brand looked confused (more than usual) and appeared to be ad-libbing during his Lady Gaga sexist bloke rant?
The teleprompter went out, he told Ryan Seacrest early this morning on Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.
"And, I thought, unless someone comes in and takes me off the stage, I’ll just keep saying offensive things," a sleep-soggy Russell admitted.
So did he "bed Lady Gaga" last night? "That’s what I wanted to know when I woke up," Russell admitted. "As soon as I opened my eyes, I started groping around a bit; I found a little ... but it was mine."
Of course, Ryan asked Russell about Kanye West's interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech. And Brand said he felt sorry for the guy because he himself has said and done a lot of stupid things that he's later regretted.
Praised for his ability to be coherent with only two hours of sleep, Russell confessed, "Well, listen, mate, I agreed to do that phone call because of my admiration and sense of debt to you. When I woke up, "Oh, my God, I've agreed to talk to Ryan Seacrest!" I didn’t go to bed until about two hours ago. I don't drink or take drugs anymore, but you know I have other hobbies."
"Get back to the two blonds," Ryan advised.
