Such great American films as The Full Monty... Did you just assume it was American because, I mean, Americans make all the films.. right?

The perfectly wonderfully appropriate Italian title for an English spy movie became a book title, and later a movie title, of its own: "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang"

Although already a movie title I'm certain that one of the movies in the endless series of vampire flics now being made, and re-made, has to end up with the Third World title of "Leeches."

There have to be some foreign films with interesting translations into English as well. I know that Pan's Labyrinth would be The Labyrinth of the Faun directly translated, and Amelie would be The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulin. These two aren't so funny, but it's a definite indication that there are some movies out there that aren't getting literal translations into English.

Lol @ "Slightly Pregnant". I honestly have to say that I didnt know they could translate films like that -- I didnt think it was legal, as that is not the official film name; despite whether a language has that word in their vocab', it still remains the same.

American Nutballs,Vaseline and Urban Neurotic are great... but Captain Supermarket? Really? How? That one is easily my favorite!

Home Alone is called "My poor little angel" in my country. Also Naked Gun is Called "And where's the cop?". This last formula (And where's the ------?) is used in every comic movie they cant translate.
