True. And I do have very groovy frames. But I just hate the idea of having to rely on something to see. But you are right. One false move with a laser and forget it....you are done for life. I think if they can, in the next decade, improve the lasik surgery I would consider it. But not now. Too scary and too many horror stories. Ugh...aging ain't graceful, is it? xoxoxo

I have always been very near sighted so I am used to wearing glasses and contacts, but now I need bifocals. I figured that the only good thing about being as blind as I was that I wouldn't need reading glasses. SURPRISE!
Lasers scare me too much. At least my vision is correctible now. One bad move with a laser or some kind of complication and that won't be the case anymore.
There are fashionable chains for fashionable glasses and glasses do make most people look more intelligent, so it isn't all horrible. :)

Hilarious!!!! I know...I'm so distraught. That's when I'm going to get the laser surgery. Otherwise I'm going to be one of those old ladies with a chain around her neck like bloody Bea Arthur in the Golden Girls! xoxoxox
