UPS manager accused of stealing package, sells the drugs inside

Authorities hoped to enlist the aid of a UPS manager in intercepting a package of marijuana. Instead, investigators say, the manager took matters into her own hands. Rather than let police know a package in her store contained suspected drugs, Anna K. Wright of Atlanta is accused of stealing the pot, selling it, and then lying about what she did.

“Not only did this defendant abuse her position as a UPS Store manager by stealing a package, she then distributed marijuana found in the package and lied to the federal agents.” said U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates. Legalize it and you wouldn't have this problem.

    • you r a robot.....sad. right is right? wrong is wrong? do you read what you write.....the law of the land?so if the law changes when the land changes, are the laws right or wrong? so right and wrong change depending on which side of some imaginary line you happen to be standing on. some laws are wrong. .....but right is right, right? that being said............B.S. DONT STEAL MY MAIL. whether it is wrong or not, legal or not..it makes me unhappy.

    • those of you who think that it was right for her to steal the package i believe you would not say that if it was your package.as for the package being marijuana it is against the law so lets follow the laws of our land until they pass the law to .legalize it.this is very sad she was a manager for our united postal service there are alot of valuable things that go through there i wonder how many other things she has stolen.i dont care if you dont agree with me right is right and wrong is wrong and she was totally wrong!!!!!

      This chick should be thrown in jail for stupidity and not drug selling and petty theft.
