    • My thoughts exactly....I was a cop for 25 years..and I always tried to live by the 'equal protection under the law' philosphy. Law enforcement is a 'government run' system. When I responded to a call, it didnt matter what economic class the victim belonged to, that person received the same service. Health care, to me, is no different. We all should have access to adequate health care, just as we all should have access to adequate police protection, regardless of our ability to pay for the service
