Cheech and Chong are taking over Current and we're taking your questions!

They'll definitely be talking about the topic of marijuana legalization, but you can ask them about their comedy, their movies, their careers, their opinions on politics, whatever you think would be really interesting to hear them talk about.

We'll be taking your questions until Friday, November 13th at 1:30PM EST.

    • Hi, i cant believe im actually gettin the chance to talk, or message my two favorite idols. I am a medical marajuana patient, and i wanted to get into the movie business ever since i was a kid. me and my best friend simon share this dream, we hope that if we make it, we could be the cheech and chong of our generation. its our dream, and its gonna happen, i wont give up. I've smoked pot for 5 years almost everyday, and im a productive member of society, i stand behind you in the legalization of the great green herb. I gotta tell you though, you'll never be replaced, too original lol. anyways my question is, what advice do you have for us? as far as the movie business is concerned.

      While I agree with the basis of his comments, I find his worry of using his 'political capital' on this issue, kind of weak. I think he would gain 'political capital', by addressing the issue with knowledge and forethought.

      He is providing the 'leadership' in America today! It's time to lead us out of the 'madness'! The number of people in prison in America 'IS' his problem. If nothing else, he should press Senator Jim Webb to 'move along' with 'prison reform'. Our prisons should not be overcrowded with 'non-violent drug offenders'. That's an "Assault on Reason" and US.

      We 'need' industrial hemp to generate 'environmentally friendly' products, which can be manufactured in the U.S.A..

    • Having grown up hearing C&C on Dr. Demento radio shows late at night allways added a 'adult' feel to their style, you never felt that you were listening to comedy skits that were made to be enjoyed by all. You cant find that anymore and if it is tried, you get the stupid stoner feel about them.

    • My dad has a full beard a little less lengthy than Mr. Chong's, in fact he's my icon. Anyways my friends growing up would always reference him as Tommy Chong and one night my buddy was in the street acting like the Masturbating champion Harry Palms screaming "AUGH AUGH AUGH AUUUUGGGHHH" and my dad was like " what the hell is wrong with that guy?" Inside jokes based on your comedy have improved my life and my friendships. The LSD made a little funnier that night, too. SHOOT The MOON.

      Until the classification is changed, people would be crazy to risk coming out of the closet and possibly loosing their jobs. Today in America ones urine often counts more than ones abilities. It's better to stay in the closet, than draw attention and possible drug test at work. Our government accomplished much with the use of 'madness'. One which stands out is, drug testing leading to 'silencing' the voices of working Americans. That didn't happen by accident!

    • Jack Herer wrote the book. It's titled "The Emperor Wears No Cothes". When I read it, I was astounded. The history of cannabis was there, in 'black and white' complete with documenation to back it up. The first half of the book is all information. The second half is actual copies of the documents, to prove the information. The book is available to read online at http://www.jackherer.com/chapters.html Take a look at the amount of information contained in the book and see if you can reconcile in your mind why our own government so wilfully misled us with 'madness'?

    • years ago, while mom was doing laundry at laundrymat, there was a garage sale and that is where I found your album "Big Bamboo" complete with paper, Intact. I bought it for $2.50. this was in 1979. long story short, I gave it away for stupid reasons. My question: Do you have any more copies of that album? Or would you know where I can find it? I totally love the album. I even collected The Wedding Album & your debut LP. Lost them though. quite sad. I would love to get the vinyls back.

    • Do you believe that marijuana communicates to the human brain by a form of plant-to-human synapsis (Spark the joy and it is transformed into a water vapor carrying a chemical signal directly to three receptor sites in the human brain that can receive the chemical signal and spark synapsis in the brain. I talk for the plant and it says "will no harm on all beings".
