Palin says Glenn Beck ‘clever,’ won’t rule out Palin-Beck ticket

"It's no secret that former GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Fox News host Glenn Beck share great respect and admiration -- so their fans can be forgiven for wondering: Is a 'dream ticket' of Palin-Beck ticket is completely out of the question?" Newsmax's David Patten wrote Tuesday night.
"Perhaps not," he added.
"Palin initially chuckled when Newsmax broached the idea," he continued. "But then she had some serious words of praise for the popular Fox personality."
"I can envision a couple of different combinations, if ever I were to be in a position to really even seriously consider running for anything in the future, and I'm not there yet," Palin reportedly told Newsmax. "But Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He's a hoot. He gets his message across in such a clever way. And he's so bold – I have to respect that. He calls it like he sees it, and he's very, very, very effective."

If this is the GOP ticket in 2012 then have few points to make. First they must provide copies of there birth certificates that they are US citizens. Next copies of there high school diplomas to prove they graduated from high school. Copies of there IQ scores and not fakes from E-Bay.
Next list of all books they have read, comic books are not accepted.

Anyone who can't see a fraud personality in this Beck character, is incapable of judging people.
When you think of these frightened little boys walking around with manufactured personalities, it makes you wonder, - why?
Why would anyone avoid the power of their own mind to grow up and be an adult? A pretend person. There are so many. Look at all the full-of-shit preachers that populate and influence so many. Pastors and message propagators to the frightened and unfulfilled.
The herd of the easily lead and never will-bes.What is the percentage, I wonder?

Yes, they are both clever. Clever at 'making shit up'. I guess it's not out of the question, we just lived through eight years of a rogue president, who refused to lead and chose to 'decide' instead. George W. was a self-professed 'decider', who chose to 'decide' instead of 'lead'. That didn't work out so well, but we have turned into a 'move along' society'. Facts no longer matter. Opinion now equals fact. If fact and opinion are spun as equal, it makes them appear equal, so people pick and choose which one sounds best to them. Turth be damned. If the majority of Americans believe it, it must be true?

Ludicrous? We elected Bush/Cheney. Twice. We elected Reagan/Bush. Twice. We elected Nixon/Agnew. Twice.
Yes, the idea of a Palin/Beck ticket is so absurd that one cannot help being amused. But I would be laughing a lot harder if I had more confidence in the capacity of the American electorate to learn from previous mistakes.

Just curious, does anyone ever watch Beck stoned? I would almost be will to buy the book. But only for the sure to be classic quotes. I'm guessing Palin's gems will make her the standard barer of 21st century political policy books.
Okay that was fun ;-)
They would have to run as a 3rd party candidates. It would make the 2012 campaign a riot on TV.That reminds me, if anyone hasn't seen it, check out The Daily Show from tonight! CLASSIC!
Only thing, this entire 2009 teabagger (real word now) gig that has came from the election of Obama is a little scary.....

hey i say go for it palin and beck. from the looks of how terrible the GOP is behaving, getting in the way of everything Obama does, it seems he will need a second term to really fix the mess we have been put in by the last cowboy in office. A Palin/Beck ticket is a guarantee second term for Obama.
To those insane enough to back Palin and think she has a shot, you really need to consider how her instinct based decision making, narrow-minded and short sighted, ignorant of the real issues facing all Americans, and not just the Mid-West; all of this cannot be overlooked by her charisma. She is more like the Bush from the last years then McCain, and that was the premise for Obama winning the election. So if you back a Palin/Beck ticket, all he has to say publicly, "do you really want to go back to that, or worse?" I'm pretty sure there is hardly a person out there that could say yes to that.

Obama is not doing anything to clean up Bush's mess. He is making it a lot worst. Bush screwed up big time his last few years in office and Obama has sucessfully made it only worse and will continue making it worse the way he is going. Im not saying that Paling or Beck would make it better, in fact i dont want beck in a govt posistion at all.

actually i gotta be honest, i want to see libertarians take lead in the gov't, but im slightly devious, in that i believe the U.S. needs a taste of what it means to be a liberal democrat, because it will probably lead most to reconsider their support for a big government. Obama is being way too gentle by allowing the corrupt scumbags, we call Congress, to come to solutions. So he really has not gotten much done to say he is making matters worse. And from the work he has produced, the results will take time to come to light. That is why I think he will be given another term. All the while, I ultimately would love to see this country get its act together and lean towards a more libertarian ideology.

Who says this is about "republican BAD democrat GOOD" or any other such biases? Let's look at the candidates we're talking about...
One left her job as Governor during her term under a slue of ethics investigations to exploit her fame cultivated from a failed VP bid for millions upon millions of dollars.
The other is an talk show host with (correct me if I’m wrong please!) no college education and no experience in politics other than crying about them on the television, who’s lost even the support of money hungry advertisers due to his wild methods and claims- claims he finds no need to substantiate because by his OWN ADMISSION he’s an “entertainer, not a reporter”… (if you can stand to watch The View you can Youtube his admission on that show.)
Both of them are radical even for their party affiliations; Palin has stated she is against abortion even in cases of rape (“In November 2006, then gubernatorial candidate Sarah Palin declared that she would not support an abortion for her own daughter even if she had been raped.” - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/01/palin-on-abortion-id-oppo_n_122924.html) and Beck considers himself a Libertarian. So it seems to me that even many Republicans and Conservatives would have a bit of a hard time supporting them.

It's silly to sit on one side and be against the other. We're all on the same ride but haven't fully realized the potential of all striving for the same goal.
