Tax Cuts for the rich lead to a higher Deficit

Funny is it just me or dose it look like every time the Rich people get a big tax
cut the Deficit gose up.

    • Yeah it's just you. When tax cuts are implemented, on the rich or any other group, tax revenues increase as compliance goes up. JFK realized this.

    • Those tax breaks wouldn't be a problem if we cut back on spending. We send billions of dollars overseas. Maybe ending that would solve our deficit problem.

    • Deficits aren't caused by giving tax cuts to the rich. They're caused by excess government spending. All of these "fiscal conservatives" spent massive amounts of money on "defense."

      The government generates its revenue by taxation......When a certain segment of society, is not taxed, it takes away from the budget...The rich gets more tax breaks, and loop holes than the middle class and the poor.

      The Government still has to pay for school and
      other important programs the Government always has to pay for some thing
      and if there is less money going to the Government then they have less money to
      pay for thing's that we have no choice but to pay for.

    • Some Americans pretend to care about the deficit, however those very same people believe in tax cuts for the rich, and don't believe in paying taxes...They are supporters of, the invasion of other Countries, and unprovoked wars.....They are against minimum wage increases,and unemployment benefits..They don't believe in any Social Programs, and want a permanent under class.

    • I find it interesting that People that care more about the
      Deficit are more likely to vote for some one who will make it bigger.
