Far from a Jay-Z Clone. "Wane" Delivers a mixture of streetwise and thought provoking lyrics instead of primarily focusing on glitz and material access. "Bruse" alleges that a few days later he was payed a visit by two men claiming they were with homeland security. "They asked me some general questions, but seem to put serious emphasis on my religious beliefs and political stance. I was like wow WTF. I was on radar; I noticed some strange noise's on my cell phone before this but thought nothing of it. Now I watch everything I say on the horn.
I proceeded to ask "Bruse" the following. Why put this out there, do you think this is wise, why not lay low. With a stern face he replied "I thought about falling back and being easy, but I aint do nothing wrong. This is a freedom of speech issue that needs to be recognized." "Why lay low every-time something like this goes unnoticed it makes it that much easier for them to continue to do sh#% like this." The Song "Dun Da Lye" is off Bruse's current release "The Dark Knight Ep - Return To Hip-Hops Golden Era". The Video For "Dun Da Lye" is set and themed in the mid 90's regarded as part of Hip-hop's now revered " Golden Era"; With Bruse utilizing a Golden era type flow.
Flip Uncle Sam the bird and watch the video for Dun Da Lye Now. God, Speed Mr. Wane.

The fact that Homeland Security exists should be enough to know that what he claims to have happened is possible. The fear of terrorist threats from within are real and growing exponentially. I'm not saying I believe every word (doesn't make a difference to me either way). I just know that it is possible.
As far as the song being 'whack ass shit', I don't agree with that either. With all the materialistic garbage being promulgated through commercial media, I'm happy for hip hop that says ANYthing else!
lolPlus it reminds me of the good ol' EPMD/Public Enemy days.

I feel like I just fell for a marketing ploy... not enough substance in this for me to believe their claims. I'd be interested in seeing some hard evidence of harassment, though.
