It’s been a long back and forth, but Los Angeles has always had one big trump card: the power to destroy New York over and over again on film. And just to make sure, through the years Hollywood has sent aliens, giant gorillas and Mother Nature to demolish the city, and, of course, it unleashed the terrifying Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
This piece includes colorful illustrations and the awesome short film, “Hollywood vs. New York.”
Please visit my website to view the illustrations and to watch this wickedly fantastic, humorous short film:

LOL. Great video. If you're going to spank someplace, why not the most overrated, self-centered city in the world? Oh snap! I said it! Someone had to.
P.S. Has anyone gotten the Neo-Nazi teabagger whacko conspiracy comment on this issue? I mean, if the Jews control Hollywood AND New York, then how do they explain this?

Hollywood just doesn't look as good. The reason New York gets destroyed so often is because it's one island of tall shit to knock over. Whereas, Hollywood just has some hills and overpriced houses. If Hollywood looked as sweet to destroy, then I'm sure it would happen.
But don't forget, in Independence Day, Hollywood, New York and DC got murked.
