I consider my faith and religion sacred, and I bristle at those writers who have no ideas of their own and have to rip off Mormon themes and cultural verbiage to sell their books.

What does he mean there aren't good Mormon artists? What do you call Joseph Smith pulling the Book of Mormon out of his ass. And if you want to know about the Mormons, don't go to the website, its the same propaganda they stuff down children's throats, leaving them handicapped with fear and guilt.

Go to Mormon or LDS websites for the truth about who we are!

NewWarriorMan:
Does the website explain how Mormon's believe the Native American's were cursed with red skin by God? Does the website explain the demon repelling underwear with Masonic symbols on the nipples and belly button? Does the website discuss how Mormons believe North America was first inhabited by Middle Eastern white people floating in "almond capsules" with glowing rocks across the Atlantic Ocean? Does the website discuss that Joseph Smith was not a martyr, but killed for burning down printing presses that didn't support his lies about golden plates and translating magic rocks? Does it discuss the pain fathers go through making up “blessings” as they lie to their family about conversations with God that never happened? Does the website address the generic “horoscopes” God delivers through a Patriarch? Does the website explain why the church would not allow African Americans to hold the priesthood until 1978 because God had said “no” until the gov’t threatened to remove its tax exempt status?
Yes I have Mormon issues. Not anger but compassion. Compassion for the children indoctrinated with lies and shaming them for critically thinking. Compassion for my Mother and former Sisters who wrestle with eating disorders and depression because of being shoved back into the Relief Society kitchen to have more children.
I have issues with Mormons and any religion who claim to have a monopoly on truth and claim their fairy tale books to be infallible. I can no longer sit silently while morality is mandated by a religion created by a 14 year-old who lied about wrestling with Satan, seeing a floating Jesus and God in the forest, and other tallking ghosts/angels.
I hope anyone with Mormon baggage can find the courage to look elsewhere for a rational spiritual explanation. Ask yourself, will the Celestial kingdom really be all that heavenly if its filled with nothing but Mormons?
Blessings from a recovering Mormon…
