The Japanese Snuggie, better than the US version?

As you can see by the photo, the Japanese Snuggie, or Juggie as some have called it, allows you to lay down at ANY time without affecting warmth. As you can clearly see by the crossed legs in the diagram, maximum comfort is achieved even while laying awkwardly in the middle of the room.
Analysts predict that next year's model will come with inside pockets to store snacks, preventing one from getting up or removing the Juggie for days at a time. Pet Juggie is expected to be released Q1 2010. No word yet on how this will even work.

Welcome to the human 'drinking duck'. If you were going to be lying down for hours at a time, chances are there were blankets handy anyways- whereas with this you'll be slamming your nose into the floor over and over in the quest to change channels on the remote using your nose (who's IR signal won't penetrate the snuggie no doubt). Although this is an amusing product for novelty's sake, I think there are already way too many novelty items out there with no real value. Thank you Japan, for proving you're just as commercially bored as we are ^_^

Ok, If better is defined as more likely to prevent actual snuggling, then sure.

I, personally, am biased when it comes to Japanese Snuggie vs U.S. Snuggie. I was recently presented with a Snuggie from a friend as a gift/joke.
In fact, I'm typing this comment proudly wearing my new Snuggie. It's blue.

Done some research on this one & I can tell you that they sell adult onsies online already (U.S. Companies) but they look gay as fuck. U designers out there should fill this void in fashion lifestyle lazyness. Get on it.

Oh japan and their wacky products. There's a word in japan that describes this, I forget what it is.
Edit: I only heard the word about 3 times. - 2 years ago

It's actually a sleeping bag with leg holes. The headline reads: "[The maker] tells us, 'with this, even if you get attacked by a bear, you can still run away' but can you really run fast enough in this?" Or at least that's the gist of it.

But it wouldn't make any money if it was called the same name as that old, out-dated, ancient sleeping bag. Pft. We must have new things constantly.

This is neat, but no Snuggie. The genious behind a real Snuggie is the built in sleeves so your arms stay warm while changing the tv channels or eating a hot pocket.
