I took tamiflu (4 doses) and started feeling very confused, dizzy slight hallucinations. This was not due to the flu as I was feeling fine flu wise. I then went into a severe depression, high anxiety, skin burning, numb hands, weird feeling in legs. I almost couldn't function for a week after stopping. I went to several doctors, even a shrink and am finally better two weeks later. I was perscribed larazapam to help with anxiety which helped. I will never ever, take this again or give it to me kids. I'm a professional adult with a relatively high powered job which I almost quit due to the symptons. I thought I'd never get better. I've never had any mental issues in the past and am convinced it was from the tamiflu. I'm 95% now, but it was the worst experience of my life.

Carolyn. You don't have to get a vaccine. I am a person with a relative in home with a history of respiratory ailments, and a weakened immune system. My mother has young children and is a healthcare professional, I live with elderly individuals. My getting a vaccine is about acting reponsibly for my family so that I don't endanger the lives of those at ask risk for being seriously affected by the disease and I'd like all of those relatives who are in danger to also have the vaccine. That doesn't make me some corporate monster, its about acting responsibly for the health of those most important to me. I understand that your feelings are different, and thats why its your choice to maintain in this situation as per the needs and understanding of your own family.

I'm not forcing my "beliefs" on you at the moment. Nor is the government. These are not mandatory, they are however free, and a comfort to many families who right now can't afford to be sick, or who fear loosing a young child or mother. The governments first priority should be to preserve the lives of its citizens responsibly, the life in life, liberty, and the persuit.

I think there is a legitimate concern in some cases. Usually due to incompetence of drug manufacture for instance those who got Lilly vaccines with high mercury doses in the 1980's. These are rare, extremely rare, and have little to do with the established medical science of vaccine's themselves. I wish the homeland security act hadn't barred justice for families affected by it, however taking legitimate concerns and twisting them into some tortured logic in the face of a healthcare emergency seems simply wrong. It sounds like fearmongering, because of ambivelence towards the federal government, and corporations. Something I share to a certain extent. Skepticism is healthy and I'm not the greatest fans of the greed in America's healthcare system. Sometimes however I think it can lead towards irrational fear and in this case the potential loss of life. I think Dr. Nancy is acting in her conscience as you are. I'm glad she as I has the right to disagree with you and can get the vaccine (albeit in a long ass line)
