here is an excerpt:
4 "It is not for kings, O Lemuel—
not for kings to drink wine,
not for rulers to crave beer,5 lest they drink and forget what the law decrees,
and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.6 Give beer to those who are perishing,
wine to those who are in anguish;7 let them drink and forget their poverty
and remember their misery no more.but please read all of proverbs 23 and 31 for a more in depth desrciption:

Duh. If you drink decent brew (like oatmeal stout), It's a health food already. Look at the
babe on the right. Isn't that proof enough for you ? She sure didn't grow a rack like that by being anemic, now did she ? - 2 years ago

Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
1 Timothy 5:23Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do.
Ecclesiastes 9:7"Alcohol, consumed in small quantities, is neither harmful nor addictive. In fact, some doctors advocate drinking small amounts of red wine for its health benefits, especially for the heart. Consumption of small quantities of alcohol is a matter of Christian freedom. Drunkenness and addiction are sin. However, due to the biblical concerns regarding alcohol and its effects, due to the easy temptation to consume alcohol in excess, and due to the possibility of causing offense and/or stumbling of others, it is usually best for a Christian to abstain entirely from drinking alcohol."

Generally speaking, based on the tendency for it to have a general lack of musical quality, I think it's usually best for most people to abstain entirely from ever listening to Rap.

God is great, man is not.
Man made whiskey, God made pot.Pot is natural, it grows in the ground.
If God didnt want it, it wouldnt be around. So all you folks, who dont get high.
Fire up a joint, give weed a try.Alcohol kills, it will rot your soul

Taddo, stop pulling statements out of the Bible that make it appear that it says something it doesn't. Jesus said "Do this in rememberence of me" referring to eating and drinking wine. Yes wine....and don't give me the old, inaccurate "he was talking about grape juice" bit. History, anthropology, and sound examination prove that is bunk. The Bible is full of drinkers, many of them responsible for the pages you quote. By the way, if you really want to witness to people about your beliefs, I highly suggest going down to the local pub and having a beer with some of the good ol' locals at the bar. Have fun and believe in Jesus? Nah, can't be. I'm sure Jesus would much rather you lob random Bible texts at strangers who you have no credibility with.
