Am I the only one that thinks a science talk show would turn "sci-fi" eventually in a placation of the masses? it may be blasphemy but there really isn't a lot of science going on these days that isn't directly perverted for some corporate inspired play at cornering the market share on already existing technology,
Science for science sake is only funded when we want to go to war. (which if you believe in war profiteering is also perverse)

What we need to add to the "formula" for good science radio talk shows are emotions and some silliness thrown in for good measure, peppered up with surprise dramas of the day.... I definitely think the hosts should be seasoned sports announcers though, that would help keep the momentum going whilst the rest of us stop to think... yes, this article is onto something. Thanks csmonut - you would make an excellent producer by the way!
