As we first reported, under the contract Jay had been working under, he was guaranteed the 10 PM hour. By moving him to 11:35, NBC was in breach of his contract and needed to negotiate a new deal. That is now done, sources tell TMZ.

    • Honestly, I don't watch Conan or Leno, so either way it doesn't matter to me. Honestly, I would have kept Conan over Leno if I was them. I mean, it just seems like they are making a real dumb move.

    • Conan made The Tonight Show topped rated. His interviews and deft handling of celebs have always been spot-on. If NBC is going to shaft The Tonight Show and Conan for the sake of an unfunny chin, why not see what Conan can actually do on his own? He certainly is rich enough to not worry about anything – it's not like he'll ever need payday loans. Before this whole Jay Leno fiasco, remember – Conan O'Brien wrote for Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons, and the Harvard Lampoon – and you have to be at Harvard to do that. He's got the talent, obviously – why not see where it leads?

    • This fucking bullshit. I know Conan doesn't want nor even needs any sympathy. But damn, If I were him, I'd go to a smashing house and destroy everything in there.
