The Green Rant: Show us what you've got

It started innocently enough. I finished off my almond milk, opened up the cabinet under our sink, and had a distinct moment of frustration when I had to put in the garbage rather than the recycle bin. When I sighed, my housemate mocked, “I mean c’mon, just think of all the enviro-conscious people out there drinking soy and almond milk and you guys can’t figure out how to get them in a recyclable containers?”

And that’s when it came to me: we should start doing a weekly green rant segment (for those of you who haven’t noticed, our online studio went dark for the past month since we have been working on a redesign of the control room. We’ll be back in the studio bringing you interviews and oped pieces starting next week).

Do you have something you want to RANT ABOUT?? Like how Apple has been trying to market themselves as a green company (I can’t wait to go off on that one) or how about all those environmental “leaders” who say they’re re green but then don’t act on it? Or what about, and this really gets my goat, what about all of those people accusing the activists who went to Copenhagen for being green hypocrites for flying on airplanes?

Meanwhile, need some inspiration? If Ben Hoffman doesn’t inspire you with his rant on the Conan O’Brien Jay Leno epic, nothing will.
