great video. Ilike all the statics. However people should also be held responsible for there actions...like taking to many pills. I don't blame the manufacturer if people use bad judgement and do things they know are damgerous. keep up the good work

Bongwater Bob is the one who seems to have a double standard. He wants to legalize marijuana, which I am for, but then turn around and start another winless war on special interests, much to his own demise, is only continued by sending D.C. more money. You want to limit special interests and the war on drugs? Quit using forced subsidization on the population, stop taxing people for your "good" programs when we know the money will never get there. The entire system is built upon coercion, power, and money, and the Keynesian mindset actually serves as an enabler to our current military-industrial complex, towards the last 60 years of central planned healthcare, and the numerous wars (drugs, gays,....) that encompass our daily lives.
The biggest hypocrisy is believing that bigger government is the cure to problems started by statist/coercive governments. We just need to minimize the statism slavery.

@mcjk: don't want to inhale the smoke? invest in a vaporizer. California long ago took the civilized approach. you get, max, a $100 misdemeanor ticket for possession. They're spending the bulk of their anti-drug efforts going after meth, crack, heroin and mexican cartels.

Yes, maybe pharmaceutical companies and tobacco companies aren't held responsible enough. And prescription drugs are the biggest drug problem in the country. But saying that marijuana is harmless and hasn't killed anybody is wrong.
Anything you smoke can cause health problems, and cause lung cancer. You can't smoke marijuana and state that there are no health risks, thats just naive. I know one could google "marijuana doesn't cause cancer" and find a lot of articles, but I wager one could find a lot more, and more respectable, that do make the link.
Another problem with the persecution of marijuana is the three strikes law in some states. An offender could be put in jail for life if they were caught three times with any amount of marijuana. California has improved on that with Prop 36 in 2000 by letting drug offenders receive drug treatment instead of prison, but its not solved in the country. - 1 year ago

Smoking is not the only way to get marijuana into your system. In fact doctors that do recommend it (and many do for effects of chemotherapy and other ailments) prefer that the patient get a vaporizor or eat it. All smoke is bad for your lungs, that is a no brainer.

Yes, I understand that, but I was responding to the video. I know it has great benefits for those in pain, but so does oxycontin. What you can't do is tout mary jane as perfect.

It is infinitely safer than oxycontin and not even in the same ball park as far as addiction goes.
