It's official, Obama is black

U.S. President Barack Obama» has officially declared that he is an African-American (Black) in a 2010 census questionnaire.
The New York Times quoted a White House spokesman, as saying that Obama», the son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, checked African-American on the 2010 census questionnaire.

    • I really want to rage on the president right now but I think I’m gong to save it for something bigger. Though I will say this. WTF…

      Here it is 2010, fifty something years post civil rights movement, we have a multiracial president and we still for some ridiculous reason don’t have a multiracial box for damn near everything. And truth be told this is not just a pride thing. I was almost arrested in DMV one year for trying to obtain the identification of a white individual.

      Of course this white individual whose identity I was trying to steal was in fact my own. Long story short I received a speeding ticket a year prior to trying to get a replacement license. The officer that ticketed me was observant enough to recognize what I was, and made the decision to list me as white (had he asked I would of told him to list me as other since I always pick other.) In the end that’s all it took to completely screw up my records with the state.

      I swear if this keeps up I’m going to start listing my race as none-ya, as in none-ya F*#&$%* business if you don’t give me the proper choice to mark what I am.

      I was saying "huh" because he has nothing to do with this article. And our country is in the shape its in because people like you have no idea what they're talking about most of the time. Just call Obama a socialist and go back to reading your drudgereport.

      I disagree. Reverend Wright has very much to do with how he sees himself and the world, he has said so in his books. To identify himself as anything but black would remove his most loyal voting base, it would take away the ability to play the race card whenever someone disagrees with his policies. It is key to his persona and his success that he is black.

    • Well if anyone is "African-American", its the son of a man from a country in Africa, and woman born and raised in the U.S.. Without this obvious ethnic background, I deem the term "African American" as being more racial then calling someone "Black" because here in Florida, people could be from any place in the world, some of whom that are not any part 'American', so to call a Haitian man an African American, it would be simply wrong.

      Well if you remember the Chappelle Show, there was a sketch about the Race Draft... Asians drafted Tiger Woods. So Tiger ain't a brother, although I bet they want to trade him now after all that's happened...
