Llamas have been brought in to protect eggs and chicks of wading birds from predators such as foxes at an RSPB reserve, the wildlife charity said.
The two llamas, named Willy and Jack, have been brought in as a security measure during the nesting season.
Being highly territorial animals, which can kick and spit at intruders, it is hoped they will ward off any uninvited visitors which may prey on the nesting birds and their young.
