Adam Boulton was not the only member of the SKY News team making a twat of themselves live on air yesterday. Kay Burley tried to deflect some of the heat from Boulton caused by his meltdown by becoming a total bitch.
Burley, while interviewing David Babbs of pressure group 38 Degrees, shouted him down, told him to go home, he was wasting his time and many more rants while defending the new soon to be Murdoch Government.
Amazingly in spite of all that was happening yesterday, Burley managed to trend on Twitter at #1.with Sack Kay Burley.
Comments quickly flooded twitter and #sackkayburley and #watchthebbc hashyags were born out of later coverage when a chap with a megaphone started disrupting all her interviews on College Green.
Twitter comments included " i've had sky news on all day,they really have been a disgrace" "I couldn't agree more - the vicious rottweiler", " #Kay Burley your job is to commentate/present NOT to give your opinion!! You patronising biaatch!", and my favourite "People want to sack Kay Burley.People are laughing at Adam Boulton.Sky - When you BECOME the news, you're doing it wrong"
